Seblos: I Will Love You Endlessly Pt. 2

*where we left off*

"Hi," Seb said.

"Hi," Carlos said the same.

Carlos was confused about why Seb came back after he left the apartment a month ago.

"I'm sorry I've been avoiding your calls and texts, but after a little while, I thought it'd be better if I spoke to you in person," Seb explained himself.

"Okay," Carlos responded.

Then he let Seb enter in the apartment and shut the door before they faced each other. Carlos was about to speak.

"Look Seb, I..."

"Actually, can I talk first?" Seb asked when he cut Carlos off.

Carlos nodded as he let Seb proceed.

"After I left last month, I was taking a walk around the city, trying to clear my head but not knowing where to go until I ran into our friend, Russell. You know, the guy who has his own bar around the city. I explained to him about the situation after I got frustrated when I thought the baby might not have been mine after what happened with you and that guy, um..."

"Ezra," Carlos helped out a little.

"Right. Ezra, whom you met at the party. Anyway, I had nowhere else to go, so Russell offered to let me come stay at his apartment for a little while, but I usually had to get up for classes and work. But while I was gone to do some thinking, I couldn't get you out of my head when you did really need me. Shortly after, I felt so bad about leaving you and I couldn't let you go through with this whole thing alone. That's why I came back here so I could see you and talk to you. I-I know that you don't know whether the baby's mine or someone else's, but I don't care. We probably never had this discussion about having children someday, because the feeling about it that I felt was kind of scary and I didn't know how to tell you. But now, I wanna be there for you. I want you to give me another chance on us. If you plan on keeping the baby, I wanna be sure that I'm ready."

Carlos was feeling a bit surprised.

"Do you really mean what you said, Seb?" Carlos questioned.

"Absolutely. Look, I was mad about this before, but I'm not anymore after it took a little time to get over it. I love you, Carlos," Seb told him.

After hearing out, Carlos was starting to feel pleased about how Seb was being supportive like he should've been. 

"I love you too," Carlos said the same back.

The two boys smiled at each other. And then, Carlos thought of a solution to the problem.

"Hey, what if I book another doctors appointment and you come with me, so we can see if your DNA results prove that you're my baby's father? And if you're not, it would mean so much to me that you're gonna be with me throughout the entire thing and I'm certain that we're both gonna be the best dads to the baby, even when it might not be yours," Carlos made a suggestion.

Seb smiled at Carlos's idea.

"I'd like that. And this is one way to find out for sure," Seb replied.

Then they shared a hug.

*two weeks later*

Carlos found another opening appointment which was two weeks later, and he and Seb went to the same hospital Carlos was at where he found out he was pregnant. Carlos booked with the same doctor and he and Seb were in the waiting room until his name was called and Seb followed him to the room before Dr. Benson entered in.

"Ah, Carlos. How nice to see you again," Dr. Benson greeted happily.

"Hi, Dr. Benson. It's nice to see you too," Carlos smiled.
