Seblos: Faithfully Pt. 2

*six months later*

The rest of Carla's pregnancy went smoothly as planned, and Seb was very supportive and faithful to her.

*month 4*

Carla and Seb couldn't be more thrilled as their journey continued on with their baby on the way. It was Christmastime, and Carla's gift to Seb was a gold watch with their first initials engraved, but Seb's gift was more better as he gave Carla a pair of baby shoes, which he had his mom helped him crochet in white and gold. Seb and his family invited over Carla's family to their house by the farm for Christmas dinner after the Rodriguez family invited the Matthew-Smiths to their house for the Christmas Eve party the other night. 

Carla and Seb stepped outside where they wanted to be alone for a bit as it was a snowy night.

"So, I was thinking about how we would raise our baby," Carla started.

"Yeah?" Seb asked.

"Yeah. Even though, it might be difficult to do that while we're two houses apart. So, how would you feel if I came here to stay with you?" Carla questioned.

Seb was surprised to hear what Carla said.

"You see, I thought of it, so we could make this easier, because I know how much your family's farm means to you, and I still want you to be a part of this journey. But... You know, maybe this is a stupid idea, and I shouldn't have brought it up," Carla started to doubt.

"What? No, no, no, no, no, no. It's not stupid at all. In fact, I found it very sweet," Seb smiled.

"Really?" Carla asked.

"Yeah. It's gonna sound crazy, but I was actually thinking the same thing, since we got as much space we could arrange," Seb made a statement.

"Oh, that's good. Because we don't exactly have plenty of space at my house anyway. When we both mentioned it, I wanted to be closer to you," Carla told him.

"So do I," Seb agreed.

"I love you," Carla said sweetly.

"I love you too," Seb said it back.

They put each of an arm around each other's backs as they watched the snowflakes fall softly before heading back inside the house.

*month 5*

It had been a few weeks since Seb and Carla started living together at Seb's home by the farm after discussing it with their parents on where they were going to raise their baby while they would keep up with school. They had their friends helped move some of Carla's stuff out of her room and had it settled everything settled in Seb's room. And to make money to take care of their baby, Carla recently got a job working as a waitress at a family restaurant while as Seb would help out on the farm often, he got a job at a coffee shop.

And now, Carla and Seb were at the doctors where the doctor was doing an ultrasound on Carla.

"Do you both wanna know the sex?" the doctor asked about the baby's gender.

Carla looked up at Seb for a moment.

"We don't have to if you don't wanna know yet," Seb said.

"I think we should. Otherwise, I might get anxious while waiting to know," Carla was making a point.

"Okay, sweetheart, if you're sure about it," Seb told her.

Then Carla looked back at the doctor.

"Okay, we're ready to know," Carla said.

The doctor observed the screen for a moment.

"Okay, and it appears that you two are having... a boy," the doctor announced.
