Seblos: Someone You Loved Pt. 3

*one week later*

After doing some job searching since coming home, Seb had finally found a job as a waiter at a restaurant (nothing comparable with Greyson's chef job, because Seb got a waiting job at a different restaurant) and started to work there to make money, so he would be willing to raise his baby while he was willing to manage time to help out at the farm. It was a little hard for to be out in public with his baby bump starting to grow out a little, but he had his whole family and friends, who come around occasionally, to protect him from odd people giving out their hate. It's been about a week since Seb saw Carlos who had been dating Greyson, and he couldn't think of a right time to his ex-fiance about the baby, but as right now, he needed to focus on his child.

He was in his bedroom, relaxing after helping his family with one of the cows since he had a day off from working at the restaurant. He laid on his back on his bed with a hand on his tiny baby bump, thinking about if the baby would like him or would have looked like Carlos if they hadn't broken up.

"Sebastian!"

Seb heard his mother calling to him.

"Yeah?"

"Carlos is here to see you. Do you want me to send him up?" Mrs. Matthew-Smith informed.

Seb was shocked to being notified by his mom that Carlos came to see him.

"Honey?"

Seb snapped out of it, "Huh? Oh, yeah. Yeah, send him right up."

Seb was preparing to see Carlos as he looked in the mirror to fix his hair a bit. Then he saw the ultrasound, thinking it might confuse Carlos and make him questioned if he had been with someone else. So, before Seb was about to hide the ultrasound, he looked at it as he starting to think.

"I should tell him," he whispered to himself.

Seb nodded at that.

"Yeah, I'm definitely gonna tell him," he said with confidence building up inside.

Then a knock came to the door and Seb quickly hidden the ultrasound into his pocket before he went up to answer it. Seb relaxed himself when he saw Carlos the moment he opened the door.

"Hi," Carlos greeted.

"Hi," Seb greeted back.

"How are you?" Carlos asked.

"Uh, good. I've been busy for a little while," Seb answered.

"I see. Hey, uh, can we... Can we talk?" Carlos asked nervously.

"Um, sure. Come on in," Seb invited Carlos into his room.

Carlos entered and Seb closed the door where they would talk alone. Then they sat next to each other on the front edge of the bed.

"So, have you found a job yet?" Carlos questioned.

"Yeah, I've started working as a waiter at a restaurant, but one a little different from what Greyson said when he was working at as a chef," Seb said.

"I figured when I saw you a couple days ago. Well, I thought it was you when you were in a uniform, entering a restaurant while I was taking a walk in town. I wanted to say hi to you, but I didn't wanna be a bother," Carlos said.

"Oh. Well, it's okay for you to say hi to me whenever you can see me, even while we're not together anymore," Seb told him.

Carlos nodded at him for that before they looked away from each other for a moment. Seb needed to be brave and tell Carlos the truth, so it was now or never.

"Carlos?"

"Yeah?"

Seb and Carlos faced back at each other.
