Seblos: Faithfully Pt. 1

Notes: Carla tells Seb about the baby during their private rehearsal together. They tell their friends during opening night.

*Carla tells Seb*

Carla wasn't as sick as much when she could handle going to school. Afterwards, Carla and Seb had a private rehearsal after asking Miss Jenn for permission to use the room alone, so Carla would keep up with the musical. During their private rehearsal, Carla and Seb were practicing their dance routine for the song "I Want It All". However, Carla almost felt a little sick and dizzy, but she held it in together. After going through the choreography step-by-step, Carla and Seb decided to take a break. But Carla needed to talk to Seb.

"Seb?"

Seb looked at Carla.

"Yeah?"

"Can I talk to you about something for a second?" Carla asked as she got nervous.

"Sure, sweetheart," Seb said.

Then they both sat in chairs.

"What is it, Carla?" Seb questioned.

"Um, do you think I'll be ready for the musical by opening night? Because I'm not so sure about it. Maybe I don't fit in to play Sharpay," Carla started to have doubts.

"What are you talking about? Of course, you fit for the role. You do deserve it. I know that it's a lot, but there's still time to practice until we're ready. Know why? Because we're all in this together," Seb stated.

"Just like the song from HSM?" Carla asked.

"Just like that, yeah. But if you're feeling stressed or nervous about the musical, it's okay for you to tell me or anyone about it. I don't want you feeling any of those feelings too much. I'm positive that you're going to be amazing," Seb told her.

"Thanks, Seb. But it's not just about the musical," Carla said.

Seb's smile dropped a little.

"Well, what else is on your mind that you're worried about?" Seb questioned.

Carla had a scary about telling Seb, but she needed to get herself together and tell him.

"If I tell you something, can you promise me to not freak out?" Carla asked.

"Uh, yeah. Okay," Seb nodded in confusion.

Carla took a deep breath.

"I'm pregnant."

After the two words being said, Seb froze in shock until he snapped out of it a few moments later.

"Carla?"

"Yeah?"

"Is... Is this some sort of joke or something?" Seb asked.

"Wh- No. I found out a few days ago. Look," Carla tried to explain.

Then she went through her backpack and she grabbed the pregnancy test she took at home. She nervously showed the pee stick in front of Seb, whose eyes then popped wide open and Carla was feeling scared on how Seb would react.

"I-Is that..." Seb pointed at the stick.

"A pregnancy test, yeah," Carla finished the sentence.

"Carla, I... I..." Seb felt speechless.

Carla felt tears welling up in her eyes.

"Carla?"

And out came her tears as she started crying.

"I'm so sorry, Seb. I know it's a shock right now. I'll understand if you wanna break up with me. I can even get rid of this baby," Carla told him.

"What? No... I don't wanna break up with you," Seb pulled her in for a hug.
