Chapter 12: Battle in The Mushroom Kingdom

The brothers run to the library almost knocking Toadette over.

Mario: We're back.

Luigi: And we got a cure for Hildy.

Toadette: Watch where you're running you almost made me fall.

Donkey Kong: That's good to hear. Wait, why are you two wearing different clothing?

Mario: Oh this? We found them in the barracks at Koopa's castle.

Daisy: That doesn't matter all that matters right now is if Koopa arrives here.

Luigi: Well, when we escaped, he was, along with a couple koopa troopa's, a goomba his wizard guy, and Hildy.

Daisy: We have to prepare for Koopa's invasion.

Mario, Luigi, Toadette, DK and Daisy prepare for the fight of their lives. Koopa's airship closes in on the Mushroom Kingdoms castle. Mario is handed a red leaf by Toadette which makes him grow the ears and tail of a raccoon and he flies towards where the airship is about to land. Luigi is handed a similar flower to what Mario had used in his fight against DK but blue, which makes his outfit blue and lighter green, he runs to his brothers side. DK grabs the barrel rocket off his kart and Toadette puts on a green bodysuit which looks like a frog even giving her frog-like abilities and Daisy grabs her wand and spell book everyone is ready now watch as the airship closes in. The ship lands on the ground and koopa troopas, the hammer brothers, Goombas, Mugger, Kamek and Koopa with Peach emerge from the ship. Luigi, filled with rage, throws the powder at Peach, curing her of her spell. Peach punches Koopa in the face which causes him to lash out. He then turns his attention to Mario and Luigi, letting Peach go.

Koopa: Well, well, well, if it isn't the Mario brothers. Sorry about the but I'd like you to meet my newest member. Goomba!

Toad waddles out which causes everyone to be in shock. Daisy sways her wand and electrocutes one of the koopa troopas Kamek uses his magic throwing the hood from Daisy's head revealing she's also a princess.

Daisy: How dare you? Take this you stupid lizard.

Daisy hits Kamek with her magic which he falls over losing his wand. Mario and Luigi make their way to Daisy and are bombarded with Koopa's army. Mario uses the racoon tail to knock down several other koopa troopas Luigi throws a snowball at one and throws it at another. Daisy reaches her long-lost sister.

Daisy: You don't know me but I'm your sister. My name is Daisy.

Peach: I have a sister?

Daisy hugs Peach and squeals with joy.

Peach: Ok too tight.

Daisy: Sorry. Anyways that pendant of yours is what's keeping this world and the one you were raised in separate it was entrusted to you it can also be used to stop Koopa.

Peach: Really.

Daisy and Peach go through a chest and grab two yellow capes and run into the battle. Mugger with a spear battles Mario.

Mugger: I thought you'd be dead plumber.

Mario: Not in your life lizard. LUIGI!

Luigi jumps on Mugger, breaking one of his wings unfortunately also losing ice powers and colors.

Luigi: Mario I lost the ice powers.

Mario: It's fine Luigi I still have the racoon tail I'll fly you over to Koopa so we can stop him together.

Luigi: Thanks Mario.

DK battles Koopa mostly with grapples and even throws the barrel at him causing him to fall on his shell. Toadette hops onto several troopas and grabs Kamek's wand and manages to transform Toad back to his true self.

Toad: You saved me Toadette!

Toadette: You're welcome, Toad.

Unfortunately, Koopa gets back up and smacks Mario, Toadette, Peach and Daisy causing them to lose their powers Peach then goes to grab her jewel pendant to use on Koopa which is on her dress when she realizes it's missing.

Peach: My pendent! It's gone. Where did it go?

Kamek (holding up the pendent): Right here princess.

Kamek retrieves his wand hops on a broom andsummons a warp pipe and drops the jewel down the pipe and it shatters. However,something is off as everyone is sucked into the pipe and merges the MushroomKingdom and New York into one dimension.
