Quickly, it spread around the Eunchae had come down with a cold and that they quickly needed a replacement until she was better.
KBS had put up a poll on their Social Media and had put multiple female idols for the options. One of them was the half-leader of Le Sserafim, Brooklyn. It was almost instantaneously decided that she would be the best choice to fill in for her maknae.
But also the netizens hadn't seen the girl MC on any music show stage since she was seventeen years old back in 2016.
The statement that HYBE put out on Eunchae's hiatus stated that she would be out of the show for about two weeks. So that she could take plenty of time to get rest and relax and not rush back into things and make things worse for herself.
With that being said today was the first day that Brooklyn was going to be recording the first episode. In recent years almost everything was live now meaning that the girl was extremely nervous.
Every single member was up and trying to calm down their member, "Bei please you're going to be fine! You've done live shows before and nothing has happened in them before." Sakura rushed out whilst watching the girl rush around their dorm.
Brooklyn had to meet their manager downstairs in about five minutes and she was severely unprepared.
She could not find the shoes that her design team had told her to wear with the outfit she was wearing to the studio. It was always a thing that they were recorded walking into the building and her being a temporary MC was even more important for her to look good.
When Yunjin came out of the girls room with a pair of all white Chanel sneakers. They were insanely expensive and Brooklyn never thought that she would ever buy them but she was given them as a present for her new debut by a couple of her friends.
"Are you looking for these, Bei?" Yunjin asked her with a slightly raised eyebrow.
Brooklyn spun around and shot up her arms at the sight of the sneakers, "Oh my god! Jenni you're a lifesaver!" she snatched the sneakers from her member's hands. "Okay, I really need to get going but I will say goodbye to Eunchae first!" she announced to really no one but herself.
Hurrying around the dorm and towards the youngest room at the end of the hallway, she quickly peeked her head into the room. She saw the girl sitting criss cross on her mattress scrolling through whatever app she was on.
"Psst! I'm going to be leaving, but I will say hello to Chae-min for you." Brooklyn announced catching the attention of the red-haired girl.
She smiled at her member, "I will miss you." she pouted slightly, "But you have to make sure that you tease Chae-min oppa for me!" she exclaimed before getting into a small coughing fit.
Brooklyn sighed before reaching over and turning off the girl's light, "Get some sleep. It's too early for you to be up right now. I will check on you when I get home later, okay?" the older girl reassured the younger with a caring tone in her voice.

Today there were six different interviews that she had to do with Chae-min, but on top of that she had to take over Eunchae's Star Diary for that day. It was really stressing out the young woman and it was very obvious to her co-host, Lee Chae-min.
He quickly thanked the staff that had just fixed his hair before walking over towards her, "You've done this before right?" Chae-min questioned her with a small smile.
Brooklyn looked up from her cue cards and nodded her head, "It was a long time ago. Back in-uhm 2016, and I had just turned seventeen so I was around Eunchae's age when I did it last." she rambled out.
The male nodded his head and then motioned behind her to their groups manager, "I think they're ready for you, but just take some deep breaths and remember that you have done this before and it is going to be with people that have met you before. You were chosen by the fans because they love you. Remember that." the male actor reassured the young woman.
Brooklyn smiled up at the man before turning around and rushing over towards her manager, "We need to start making our way to their dressing room Brooklyn-ah. Let's go." the slightly older man announced and started to guide her towards the very special dressing room.
She didn't know why she was so nervous. Throughout her years as an idol she had met these members many times before and was even publicly friends with them. So it wasn't a worry of her coming off as disrespectful.
Maybe it had to deal with the fact that the rumors of her meeting up with a certain idol were still looming over her.
One wrong statement from either one of the EXO members or herself could stir it all back up again. Even more, the members could actually say the person's name.
