                                                                               Aislin's POV

Well, 3 months has passed by and me and Seth our now practically best friends, aside from that kiss we shared, everything is great. Although, I always had to fight the urge to kiss him because I didn't want to ruin our new-found friendship because . I of my stupid, overactive hormones. He was a great friend to have. I mean, he's just so sweet and caring and whenever I have a problem, he's always there to help me through it and, if I'm sad or angry, he'll always try to make me laugh. It always works.

Right now me and Seth are in Biology class 6th period and we were studying how the body worked. I soon got bored and decided to scribble on my blank white paper and soon became so focused on the swirls I didn't notice someone had come up to me and was watching me. I finally came to my senses when the person put a hand on my shoulder, making me jump. It was only Seth. I put a hand to my heart, "Jeez!! You scared me!" Seth let out a husky laugh which made my heart do a flip and he looked at me through his never-ending eyes of chocolate, "Class is over." I looked up to see everyone piling out and felt my face go red, "Oops." I glanced up at Seth as I gathered my things and he was watching me.

We left biology and now I was headed for P.E. while he was headed for French class. I stoppedat my locker and Seth just watched me as I got my gym clothes out. Our eyes met and I smiled, "What? Is there something on my face?" Seth let out a light chuckle and shook his head, "No. I was just...admiring your...jacket...heh." I rolled my eyes and closed my locker shut, "Don't even try that Seth. I know when you're lying." Seth swallowed and I raised an eyebrow, "What's wrong?" I whispered so no one would hear us. Seth took a deep breath, "Well...I was wondering if you wanted to...study with me...after school at...my house?" I felt my stomach overwhelm with butterflies and shrugged, "Sure. That sounds cool."

He gave me a wide smile and brought me into one of his bear hugs which I loved so much because I loved the way he smelled. I know it sounds wierd but, he just smells so...yummy. I hugged him back and began to head for the dreaded P.E. class; feeling Seth's eyes on me as I did.

Later, after school

After school, I headed to find Seth, who was leaning against his car, when I heard yelling from behind me. I turned around only to be smacked into and pushed roughly to the ground. And when I say roughly, I mean roughly. My head made contact with the unforgiving cement and shot pain through my entire body. I let out a moan of pain and opened my eyes to find Seth leaning over me with a look of concern mixed with anger in his eyes. But the anger vanished as soon as I looked up at him, "Aislin! Are you alright?" I tried to sit up and Seth put a hand behind my back and the other under my legs and lifted me up bridal style. I was kinda glad because the contact my head made with the cement kinda had me a little dizzy and confused.

I then heard Seth growl which kinda made me more confused. I mean, who growls? Maybe I had hit my head a little too hard. I then heard him yelling, "What the heck is the matter with you!!? Watch where you're going next time!!" I leaned my head against his shoulder and felt him beginning to walk away when the last thing I heard was, "Yeah,you better walk away, mutt!!" before my world turned to darkness. The last thing I remember was thinking, 'Why would you call him a mutt?'

Seth's POV

I was waiting for Aislin against my car when I saw her walking towards me with a strange look on her face. She turned around only to be smacked into and fell, or rather was pushed, against the concrete. I rushed to her side and found that she was in deep pain when she let out a moan of pain and opened her eyes, "Aislin! Are you alright?" She tried to sit up and I placed a hand behind her back and used my other one to go under her legs to pick her up bridal style. She didn't look to good because her face was turning a little paler than usual and that's when I realized her head was bleeding from the back.
