*Part 2*

Aislin's POV

It's been weeks...months... since I've been...well...emotionally happy. I'm twenty years old now. It's been 2 years since Seth's death. And the worse part of is that...I still haven't gotten over him...I know, pathetic right? But I guess I didn't realize how much I loved him up until now. Look at me. I'm still mourning over him. Well, I don't do it in front of my family because I don't want them to think I'm depressed and stuff.... But I know that I have to get over him so that's why I've had a boyfriend for the past two years now. To help me get over him...

And you wouldn't believe who it is though...heh. It's Mason. I realized a couple weeks after I met him that he was really sweet and comforting. We caught on like two peas in a pod. I hope that made sense.

I had told Mason about Seth and everything that had happened and he is very understanding. He is so patient and gentle with me. Sometimes I just wish I could cry from how happy he makes me. I do love him, but not as much as I loved Seth...

I sighed inwardly and sipped at the milkshake me and Mason were sharing. We were at Dairy Queen just hanging out and he was getting some napkins when he came back and frowned when he saw me (not in a bad way though), "Hey, sweetie, why the long face?" he said gently as he sat down across from me. I shook my head and bit my lip, trying to hide the sadness I was feeling, "N-nothing. Everything's fine. I promise." I said a little to quickly. Mason stared at me skeptically before reaching across the table and taking my hand in his, stroking it withi his thumb in a comforting manner.

"You know you can tell me anything, Aislin. It's alright." He whispered to me huskily but softly. I shivered and felt my eyes well up but didn't dare cry. I sighed, "It's...It's K91." I whispered hastily. The corner of his lip twitched and I could tell he was trying his best not to laugh. Even though the situation wasn't funny, I tried to hold in my own laughter. K91 was the name we'd given any conversation that had to do with my past life. If you hadn't noticed, K9 was meant to be like 'canine' as in for dog (since Seth had been part werewolf) and the 1 stood for as my first love. (Author Note: I hope that makes sense to you guys)

Mason smiled at me with that gorgeous smile of his, "I understand, Aislin. I promised I would help you get through this and I'm not breaking that promise. Wanna know why?" he smiled wider and waited for my reply. I smiled back and nodded. Mason's eyes softened as he spoke and what he said made my heart flutter, "Because I love you and I hate seeing the ones I love in pain."

I felt myself smile more, "I love you, too." I whispered gently. Mason grinned even more and we let go of our hands and finished our milkshake the moment the door to the Dairy Queen flew open. I turned to see who it was and jumped up just as a little boy with black hair and green eyes leaped into my arms squealing, "Aunty Aislin!" I smiled. Little Ashton in all his cuteness. I hugged him and put him down so I could pinch his cheeks, "How's my little nephew doing, today?" I cooed.

Ashton smiled up at me, a big grin plastered on his face, and began to hop up and down, "Mommy took me to the fishy place! I like fishies!! Yay!!" People around turned to look at us and some even gave us dirty looks. I glared back at them and smiled down at Ashton, "Wow. What's that you have there?" I said pointing to the little dolphin plush toy he was clutching. Ashton smile got wider, if that was even possible, and showed me the dolphin, "Mommy said if I be good, then I get to have dolphy!" I patted his head and nodded, "You must have been a good boy to get a cool dolphin like that." His eyes sparkled happily and he turned around to look up at Amber who was watching him proudly.

"Mommy, mommy! Can I go plays outside!?" He jumped happily. Amber picked him up and stroked the hair that was covering his eyes, "How about we go to the park in a little bit with your aunt Aislin and uncle Mason so you can play with the ducks?" She smiled when he nodded his head fervently and leaned it against her shoulder, admiring the plush toy. I shook my head, smiling, "Amber, me and Mason aren't married."
