The landline on the desk kept ringing, but Leo only looked at the cell phone number in the caller ID, refusing to answer it.

He recognized that it was Oliver's.

The series of explosions must have disturbed the secretary, and his Excellency, the little duke, who was huddled in his room without any action would worry him so much that at this rate, it wouldn't be long before he would break in regardless of the scolding he would receive in order to force the mad and capricious young master to leave the island.

Leo was waiting for that moment.

Ten minutes later, there was a knock on the door. After no one answered, the other party quickly discovered that the door was not locked, so he turned the doorknob.

As soon as one of his arms entered the crack of the door, Leo swiftly grabbed it, then dragged the man in, reverse-clipping his arms to the ground.

--It wasn't Oliver, but a young man dressed as an ordinary bodyguard.

"Who are you? What are you doing here!" The federal agent asked vigilantly and sternly while increasing the force in his hands.

The man screamed out in pain and confessed without resistance: "Allen! My name is Allen! It was Oliver who asked me to come ...... He said that if there are other people in the Duke's room, he would like to pass on a few words to them."

"Say it!"

"He said that one look at the situation, anyone would know that the Luna Club is completely finished. He is willing to turn himself in and testify in court but is worried that his personal safety wouldn't be guaranteed. He thinks you are the one he can talk to about this issue, so he asked to meet you face to face."

"Then you let him come up."

"No, he said he wouldn't dare to curry favor with someone in front of the duke, and that if you think he's still useful as a witness, come out of the clubhouse and meet him at his hideout."

Leo hesitated for a moment. He looked at the nervous, sweaty, panicked youth on the floor, and then at the closed door of Yavre's bedroom. After a few minutes, he said, "I'm not leaving here until someone takes over. You go call Oliver and say that if he's really sincere, he should come here alone to see me, otherwise, I won't hear him out. Tell him that he will never be able to get away, and if he falls into other people's hands, I won't admit that he offered to surrender."

Allen, who was sweating profusely, made the call as requested, and was on the verge of tears when he put the receiver down: "Oliver didn't say anything, he just hung up ......"

"Then I'll trouble you to stay here for a while," Leo said, as he tightly tied the man's hands and feet tightly and gagged him. He then threw him into the spacious dressing room.

"Damn, that fucking cop didn't fall for it!" Daniel huffed, stomping on the back of Oliver's head with the sole of his shoe, rubbing the secretary's face on the floor to vent his anger

"I told you, we already played this trick before, how could he fall for it." Sha Qing said indifferently, "You think his IQ is at the same level as yours?"

"Sha Qing! Just whose side are you on! You're a killer, not a volunteer police officer!" The ex-gangster grumbled irritably.

The serial killer shrugged and made no answer.
