When Oliver received another call from the informant, his first reaction was to regret not changing his cell phone number immediately. Doing so would have caused him a lot of trouble in his work, but compared to the angry young duke, who had been extorted a large sum of money, that trouble was insignificant.

He was desperately hoping that the guy and the undercover police would be caught during the search in the mountain -even if it's only one of them- in order to somehow calm the young duke's anger, but things obviously backfired, and now he had to answer the call to see how this informant intended to take advantage of the mess.

"I have a piece of news that would be very beneficial to you." The voice on the other end of the phone said straightforwardly. "You haven't caught the undercover, right? and I'm sure that even if you search the two islands, you won't be able to touch even a single strand of his hair."

Oliver said solemnly: "Are you trying to sell us his coordinates this time?"

"You're a clever secretary, but you can't make the decision on this. I need to speak to the young duke."

"And let you extort another $100 million? No, not a chance! To be honest, it doesn't matter now since he's already like a turtle in a jar - he's going to get caught, be it sooner or later. To me, the duke's mood is much more important than an undercover agent who is basically dead, do you understand?"

The other party let out a low chuckle, "I understand. But what if I said this transaction is completely free?"

Oliver hesitated for a moment, "Free? Or do you have other conditions?"

"You're quite quick on the uptake. In that case, then please send my full apology and goodwill to the Duke - for my somewhat hasty and rude trading methods last time. You know, I'm not usually like that, since I tend to repeat businesses with most people. For this reason, I will provide that guy's location to you for free, and in the future if the little duke needs any important information, I will also give it away for free once, no-twice. What do you think?"

Oliver thought for a while and felt that this news should make the young duke feel slightly better, so he agreed: "I will convey those words to the young duke on your behalf. As for your call request, that will depend on the duke's wishes."

After receiving the report, Yavre deliberated for a moment. His anger hadn't completely burned his reason just yet. Out of fear of being retaliated against, that greedy intelligence dealer was bent on repairing their relationship and wanted him to become his regular 'customer', so he gave him a 'gift'. There's no reason to refuse this type of deal. What's more, the other party was still on his island, and as long as he refuses to let go, even if that informant goes back on his word later, the latter party would still be left helpless.

Having made up his mind, he connected the call and spoke to the other party with the tone of Oh-foolish-man-this-Duke-will-forgive-you-magnanimously: "You have made a wise choice, being my friend is much easier than being my enemy. Say, where is that damn undercover agent? Why can't I find him after searching both islands?"

"Did your men search the sea caves on this island, the one on the western beach?" The informant asked in a straightforward manner without challenging his patience, which made young Yavre's impression of the man slightly improve.

"Of course, since we know it was a good place to hide. But my men searched it two or three times over and over again and still found nothing."

"I think they searched during the low tide, so of course by then, he was no longer in there."

"Are you kidding me, my friend? Do you think anyone could soak in a cave filled with seawater for twelve hours at high tide?"
