"All right, once again, Hiro. This is Vina, my fiancé. Magkakilala naman na kayo no'ng high school, right?" Pagpapakilala ni Kace sa akin habang nakaakbay kay Vina.

"Aah, oo," naiilang kong sagot bago balingan ng tingin si Vina na diretso ang tingin sa akin habang suot-suot ang seryosong mukha. Napalunok naman ako at napaayos ng upo.

Kace was right, hindi pa rin talaga siya nagbago. She's still the same old Vina who always exudes an intimidating aura. She's an introvert, like me, and maybe many have already told her that she has a resting b-tch face. Describing her physical appearance, she has a hime haircut, fair skin, siren-like eyes, and lips with a pink hue shaped like hearts. Undeniably gorgeous, right? No wonder Kace fell in love with her.

It's quite astonishing to think that they're going to be married soon, though, and on top of that, they're expecting a child.

Back then, it was just difficult making eye contact with her. And now she's in front of me again.

"Long time no see, Hiro," she said with a composed expression, extending her hand. I promptly took it and gave it a shake.

"Yeah, it's nice to see you... again," I replied, my voice growing softer as I noticed her sweet smile.

Wow, she looks absolutely stunning when she does that.

"Yang tinginan mo, Hiro," saad ni Kace habang pinanliliitan ako ng mga mata. Niyakap na rin niya ang fiancé na tila binabakuran ito. Nakita ko pang namula ang mukha ni Vina dahil sa ginawa nito.

"Siraulo," tatawa-tawang saad ko bago balingan ng tingin si Kade na tinabihan na ako. "Tapos ka na magluto?" Tanong ko sa kaniya.

By the way, it's amusing that Tita Dria managed to convince the restaurant owner to let them use their kitchen. It seems that when they explained it was for the restaurant's anniversary celebration, the owner readily agreed to the arrangement. It's great when things work out smoothly like that.

"Sina Mama na magtutuloy," tanging sagot nito habang diretso ang tingin kay Kace. Nagtataka ko namang sinundan ang tingin niya. I raised my brow at Kace as if asking what happened between them.

He just shrugged his shoulders and cleared his throat before he could speak again. "Ay oo nga pala, Hiro. Pwede bang ikaw magspeech bilang best man ko?" Nakangiting tanong nito. Binalingan ko ng tingin si Vina at marahang tumango ito.

"S-Sure, why not?" I eagerly answered. Nagkatinginan naman sila at matamis na ngumiti bago bumaling muli sa akin. Nabaling ang tingin ko sa idinulas nilang card sa harapan ko at nakitang wedding invitation ito. Dinampot ko naman 'yon at tiningnan ang loob.

"The wedding is in three months. Magrereserve kami ng guest house sa kasal. Matagal na naming pinag-usapan 'to ni Vina at napagdesisyunan na hindi gawing masyadong pormal ang kasal," he explained. "Right, Vina?" Pagtatanong nito at hinalikan pa ang pisngi ng babae.

"Y-Yeah.." nahihiyang sagot ni Vina.

"Nakapagreserve na kami ng venue, nakapagsend na rin ng invites, at naconfirm na rin namin ang speeches," he said as he counted with his fingers. Lumingon ito kay Vina. "Ano pa ba?"

"'Yung susuotin natin," mahinang sagot nito.

"Ah! Oo nga pala, wala pa tayong susuotin," tila dismayadong saad ni Kace. Mahinang natawa naman si Vina at hinagod ang likod nito.

Napalingon naman ako kay Kade at nagulat nang mahuling nakatitig ito sa akin.

"Bakit?" I mouthed. Umiling lang ito at ipinagpatuloy ang pagtitig sa akin.
