Chapter 4

Nyrrea

Today the 5000 warriors from Fitgo were coming to Mascu. My father told me this morning that when the warriors arrive we are going to start the plan to find my brother. He also told me that I can only come with the search for Axe if I train really hard and that I will never fight alone. I accepted the terms.
My father still doesn't know about my trainings with Lioso. But I can not continue those trainings anymore because my father has hired someone to train me, a man from Fitgo. He will be with the warriors. I will not see Lioso as much as i did before. But it is worth it if we get my brother back.

My father came in my room to tell me the warriors have arrived. We both walked outside together to greet them. Xavier told all the warriors who we were, what the plan is and where they will be staying. My father introduced me to the man who is going to train me. His name is Joaquin. He is actually really nice. He looked like he was in his twenties. My father told me my training would start this evening. The sooner the better. The warriors have travelled a long time, so we were all eating dinner together. I was sitting by myself when a girl walked over to me.

"Hi, I am Kylah. I'm Xaviers big sister. You must be the princess". The woman introduced herself. How can they be siblings. They look nothing a like." You are Xavier sister? You really don't look like each other".

" I will take that as a complement". We both laughed at her joke. She is really nice. We talked for a while, then I told her I was going to train and went to Joaquin.

"Hello princess, are you ready for your training?" Joaquin asked me when I arrived.

"You can call me Nyra and yes, I am very ready".

"Alright, let's get started then".

Joaquin started teaching me the basics, like how to hold a sword and how to swing it. But we started with sticks and what my position should be. What Lioso already thought me. I just acted like I didn't now. It was actually going really well for the first day. Joaquin told me I got some skills. For the rest of the night we just trained with the sticks. When I was done training I went to Lioso. It was a really long time since we talked, he was surprised that I was at his house, but he was happy about it. He wanted to sit by the lake behind his house." So how is life going?". Lioso asked me laughing. I laughed at what he said. " it's alright, how is yours?" He laughed . " The same". We cached up about everything that happed.

"I heard why everything with the new warriors and the extra training is happening. Are you okay?". He was referring to what happened to my brother. My smile despaired. " How okay can I be? My brother is missing. I can't see you as much anymore. Everything has changed."

" Just tell me If I can do anything for you, alright". This is one of the reasons I love Lioso. He is there for me. always. "Always". We sat there by the lake for a while, talking, starring and the stars and just laughing.

"I have to go, my mother needs me back home."

Lioso went back home and I walked home to. I walked past the lake on my way to my house. I looked up to the sky and the stars. It was a clear night.

" Please Vita, don't take my brother. Help me find him. please." I sat down and cried. I just prayed to the gods to help me find Axe. What else could I do? I stared at the reflection of my face in the lake. There were little waves coming from a rock who was just thrown in the water. I looked back and saw Xavier standing against a tree. I sighed. " What are you doing here?". It was dark but I just could see his face under the moonlight.

"Your father asked me to find you. It's getting late princess". Princess... never liked the nickname.

"Don't call me that. And go back to the castle, tell my father you couldn't find me". He moved away from the tree and walked a little closer to where I sat.

"But that's what you are, a princess. And no. Your father would sent more men to find you. Not so smart is it?". He was right. About both things. "Fine just don't bother me. And yes I am a princess, doesn't mean you have to call me that". He had a little smile on his face but it didn't last long. I looked away from him and looked at the sky's again. He was still standing there. Like waiting." Are you going to leave, or are you just standing there".

"Yes, I am leaving and so are you". He walked over to me and grabbed my arm and lifted me up. "What the hell are you doing Xavier". He walked away and he was still holding on to my arm so I was forced to walk with him. "Taking you home". Yes. I definitely don't like him.

He actually did what he said. He dragged me all the way home. Holding on to my arm. We arrived at the castle and Xavier took me to my father. "Here is you daughter".

"Thank you Xavier." And then he did leave. "Going to bed", I said while already walking away. "No you are not, come back here". Guess my mother was here too. I had not noticed. I turned around to face my parents.

"Where were you?". My father asked. "I was at the lake". Technically I didn't lie. I was at the lake, just didn't tell them with who. "Alone?". My mother asked me this time." Yes alone mother". "I don't want you there alone. Especially at night Nyra", my father spoke. I remembered his terms if I wanted to help find Axe. The only reason why I did say this and to keep my promise.

"Fine. I won't go outside alone at night. Promise". My father looked at me and nodded. "Good, go to bed Nyra", my father said. Finally. So I walked to my room and went to bed. I looked out of my room so I could see the moon. I remembered something. There is a moon goddess.

I looked through my books to find something about it. I found the book. It's called the story of Deva the moon goddess. Deva is the goddess of the night, the moon and the stars. In the books she was described as a dark goddess. That's why she is the night. The dark on our earth.

If there is a full moon, it can mean two things. Either it means something bad is going to happen that evening, or she is going to give you a little bit of her darkness. The thing that everyone fears. Well, the weak ones fear it. People who were given her darkness were powerful. But they were mad people. If you couldn't control it, you could be your own downfall.

There also was a story that the people who got a wolf as there raxi where given a little darkness. Because the wolf was like connected to the moon, so then so were they. But that's just a story of people wanting to scare others. I think.
