Chapter 6

Nyrrea

For the past weeks my days did mostly exist of training. I train from morning till evening. But I like it, Joaguin is really nice. And a good trainer to. But today was going to be different. A group of people are going to go undercover to Loxeadi. To discover the kingdom. The weaknesses and the strengths. Everything we need to know about them so we can defeat them. I begged my father for days if I could come with the scouts. Every day I got a no out of him. but every day I still asked. And today... he said yes, if I took Joaquin and Xavier with me. That was the only way I could go, so I said fine. And today was the day.

We came together in front of the gates. We all had Loxeadi clothes on. We had the clothes from years ago. When some Loxe people were on our grounds. The clothes were a little big on me but looked fine. On Joaquin was it a little small. It was kind of funny. You could see his ankles under his pants. On Xavier the clothes looked... perfect. What? Well it was just clothes.

We took our horses and rode in pairs. Xavier was in front. I was with Joaquin in the middle. We rode the entire time with some little stops. When the sky was turning darker we stopped to rest the horses and we went to set up our tents we took with us. I was setting up my tent and went back to the rest. Some of them made a fire and were making dinner. I wasn't really hungry so I walked to my tent and went to sleep. I woke up in the middle of the night. I couldn't sleep any further so I went outside. I sat down on the ground close by a river. Joaquin must have heard me leaving because he went to sit next to me. "what wrong?".

"nothing, just can't sleep, you?".

" I heard you leaving your tent. Were are going to be fine tomorrow Nyra. Just don't do anything stupid".

"I won't". We talked for a while before Joaquin went back to his tent. I sat there for a while looking at the night and everything ells. I was nervous about tomorrow, scarred that we won't find anything we can use. So I talked to Miasa. " Miasa, help us tomorrow. Help us find my brother back, please". I dind't get a reaction so I went back to my tent. But when I walked away from the river there was a squirrel on a tree. He looked at me and then he runned away. I hope that was sign Miasa heard me.

In the morning we rode the last peace to Loxeadi. The journey took us two days. But when we finally arrived it was time for action. Xavier gave us a speech before we left about something like you need to be them, and the Loxe people cannot find out. I wasn't quite listening. We walked true the gates of the kingdom.

There was a market so it was perfect time to be undercover. They weren't on to us. we were just normal Loxeadi people going to the market." I want you two to go behind the market and find things we can use later". Xavier gave instructions to every on. Some other were supposes to get to know the people here. Xavier and someone else were going to try to get closed to the kingdom.

Me and Joaquin were going to look behind the market. "on to it boss". I joked. He gave me a fake smile. I laughed to myself. "come on". Joaquin whispered to me, getting me out of my mind. We looked in the houses were the owners were gone. We were walking to the storage place where they keep the food and stuff. " hurry up". It wasn't Joaquin who said that.

I looked at Joaquin to see if had heard that to. His face expressions told me he did. We stood behind a house to hide. He looked around the corner of the house. He whispered to me.
"one girl, two guards".
I looked around the corner to. It was a girl and it looked like she was around my age. I had a plan." You go distract the guards, I have a plan. After words get everyone else and meet me by the horses." Joaquin looked confused. "better not be something stupid". He was walking the other way to the guards but I still heard him.
