"Were they really going to exercise the collapse of the moon orbit option?"
"The mechanism was already turned on. And, it was from the moon base that the alternate reality signals were emanating. They were intent on unraveling what holds the galaxy together."
"Have you read their manifesto?"
"Enough to know it was mostly nonsense written by and directed at those who believed life had lost meaning and the only solution was rebooting into unpredictable realms."
"Holy Black Hole! How could something like this have been organized?"
"That will be thoroughly investigated. As it is, an InterGalactic Tribunal will be convened to determine what steps need to be taken to assure nothing like it ever happens again."
"Wow! The first intergalactic meeting since the Non-Interference Temporal Pact was drafted!"
"The Galactic Tourist OverBoard has not impressed our neighboring galaxies. There has been a strict hands-off edict issued. ARS and the Dream Whisper network have been shut down. Tourism will continue, but agents and watchers can do nothing but observe and report."
"What about Water World? What will happen to it?"
"The Tribunal will decide. There has been so much interference, so much gone wrong, I would think something must be done to right the situation, especially if these current trends of cooperation on the planet continue. If there is even a chance of them reaching Level 5, assistance should certainly be provided."
"They have such a long way to go. Might it be too late by then?"
"It might indeed."
