The surface of the third planet in System Sol is 71% water. It is often referred to as the Water World. The remainder of the surface, continents and islands, have a remarkable range of climate and biodiversity. Our current estimates suggest there are close to 9 million different species of plant and animals on this globe. It is quite astonishing.
And, to the delight of the sophisticated galactic traveler, there are numerous natural material monuments and structures constructed only with simple tools and by hand of the inhabitants.*
