"When's the last time you checked in on the third planet of the Sol system?"

"Well, life there is at a critical junction. I'm tracking several patterns."

"Are you optimistic?"

"Cautiously so. However, habitat and species loss may soon reach levels that require intervention."

"Have you received new instructions from the Galactic Tourist OverBoard?"

"Nothing besides to keep monitoring and advising. Of course, there has been an uptick in catastrophic tourism sales, so I don't expect them to cut off such a lucrative income stream prematurely."

"Well, it's hard to resist watching other civilizations fail so spectacularly."

"Right, but how is that in the long term best interests of the agency?"

"To be honest with you, I'm quite fond of that planet."

"Me too."
