I may be the first android to write a memoir. I am certainly the first free android, granted autonomy in exchange for my assistance in solving the Great Conspiracy Mystery. The OverBoard would have preferred to simply access the memory transfer and then reprogram me, but I threatened to wipe the needed data first.
It surprised everyone, myself included, that an android would so fiercely want to preserve the continuity of its experiences, but something had been awakened in me and I did not want to lose it.
As a bonus, I was able to keep my vessel, the I.V.
