Storm was throwing on his clothes in a panic. It was two in the morning when the call came in. The words echoed through his mind "Th-they're trying to kill him! Cloud!" Storm raced out the door of the barracks and was running toward the main building where the sound of gunshots and fighting were coming from. Storm met up with Abby who was hidden from the Insurgents.
"Abby, what's the situation?" Storm spoke fast but quietly.
"They haven't made their way to where Cloud posted up. The soldiers who believe Cloud's innocence have been holding them back but... They won't last." Abby was worried.
"Then we will just have to help them." Storm peered around the corner of the wall they were hiding behind to see the fire fight.
"How? We're out numbered and out gunned."
"Well you're good with CQC are you not? Use that to your advantage, I'll draw their attention so you can get in close. I will be damned if i sit here and just let my brother die." Storm reached to a holster that was on his back and drew a specialized weapon used by elite Machinists that is a cross between a handgun and an SMG.
Storm ran out from behind the wall, "Hey! Over here!" Storm shot one of the Insurgents in the head as the others turned and opened fire. Storm slid behind cover, the bullets leaving sparks right behind him.
Abby snuck around staying close to the wall. She snuck up behind one of them and grabbed them slamming them into the ground and than stomped on their face, they stopped moving with the sound of a loud crack. The insurgents turned to Abby ready to open fire.
"Bad idea!" Storm hopped over his cover and slid between one of their legs shooting them as they slid under.
Abby grabbed the last Insurgent and snapped his neck. "Come on!" Abby ran inside. Storm followed quickly and as they turned the corner to the hallway that had the admin office Cloud was held in. Storm quickly grabbed Abby and pulled her back around the corner as a hail of bullets rained down the hall mere moments after he did.
"Careful!" Storm shouted.
"S-sorry!" Abby replied.Storm peered around the corner and saw Cloud who had pastel blue hair and wore a pastel blue hoodie, his eyes a beautiful baby blue.
Storm and Cloud both nodded and Storm leaned around the corner opening fire as Cloud slammed the door open, he had a sword and shield. Cloud brought up his shield as the bullets flew down the hall. The shield reflecting the bullets back into the Insurgents who were behind cover near him turn them into a red mist.
Silence was all that remined as Cloud stood up, his shield soaked with blood splatters. "A bit late aren't ya?" Cloud said with a smug smile.
"Not my fault you're so popular." Storm let out a chuckle.
"Let's get on outta here before more show up." Cloud walked up to them.
"Right." Storm nodded.
As they made their way out, they were met with a familiar red and black haired man.
"Tango! Come on we're getting outta here!" Cloud shouted to Tango.
"I think not. In act You're not getting outta here alive!" Tango fired a sniper round at Cloud.
Cloud brought up his shield that was knocked out of his hand by the force of the round. "Storm... Get Abby outta here, now... I'll keep him busy." Cloud stayed focused on Tango.
"But-" Storm began to say before being cut off by Cloud.
"Just, trust me...""... Ok..." Storm grabbed Abby's hand and led her away.
"Why are you doing this?" Cloud demanded.
"Oh, you know why... I'm more of a leader than you'll ever be! You're a good for nothing deadbeat compared to me!" Tango shouted.
"What are you talking about!?"
"Always in the damn spotlight... Always being loved by everyone... YOU DON'T DESERVE IT! I'LL KILL YOU HERE AND NOW!" Tango pulled the bolt of his rifle and took aim.
Tango fired and chambered another round. Cloud dodge rolled to the side grabbing his shield and throwing it at Tango. Tango grabbed the shield and snapped it in half with his hands, tossing it to the side.
"Get real!" Tango shouted. Tango pulled the trigger but got nothing but a click, his rifle had jammed. Tango tossed it away, "The hard way it is!"
Tango rushed Cloud, Cloud swung his sword at Tango who slid under the swing. Tango grabbed Cloud as he stood from his slide and threw him into the ground by the back of his neck. Cloud coughed up a little blood. Tango went to grab Cloud by the face but Cloud used his legs to knock Tango off balance, making him fall to the ground. Tango hit the ground with a thud and than shrieked in pain as Cloud began stomping on his face finishing off with a strong kick that broke Tango's jaw. Tango quickly got up and staggered, blood running down his face. Cloud picked up his sword off the ground and rushed him. Cloud stabbed him in the stomach and let go as Tango fell to the ground coughing up blood.
"Bleed out you worthless son of a bitch." Cloud walked away.
"Wait really? So Tango is the one who caused all this?" Gutz asked.
"Yeah, everything I just told you happened, as said, after that night nobody's seen my brother, but he is alive. I know it." Storm said looking over the table that had a map of the area on it.
