Shigaraki Tomura and Dabi were arguing not even 10 minutes after the leaders return. It was an occurrence that had become rather common in the recent months. Whether it was just a result of personality clashes or stress was up for debate.
"Working from the shadows isn't doing shit. Hawks gave us names and locations. We should confront the heroes head on like Stain did!" Dabi snapped.
Shigaraki scowled and scratched his neck. "If we do that then we'll end up captured just like Stain did."
"Mister Dabi, you are of no use to anyone behind bars." Kurogiri reasoned, polishing a glass. "We are best to follow a strategic and subtle approach to this."
Cobalt flames licked against Dabi's body as he struggled to contain his rage. "So what? We just sit here and wait for them to find us?"
"Obviously not," Shigaraki grumbled. "Our plans are still in development, but rest assured they'll bring us closer to our goal."
Dabi slammed his hands on the bar counter and leaned in towards the blue haired man. "I have been here for months and I'm still no closer to Endeavour. I've just been given a lead at U.A to make sure he gets what's coming to him, and we're doing nothing."
Shigaraki frowned up at Dabi past the hand obscuring his face. "Is something bothering you? You seem more temperamental than usual."
Dabi snarled, his staples pulling at the sudden expression. "Don't act like you know me."
"He's right though," Twice remarked. "You seem upset. You are acting like a total asshole!"
"Dabi-chan," Toga said, finally sitting up from her spot on the bar couch. "If you are being bothered by something you should tell us. We're a team. We can't work together if something is wrong with one of us."
"Maybe we could even help you," Spinner offered. "There's no reason we should be strictly a team for going against heroes, we should also support each other in need."
Dabi didn't allow his heart to be softened by his allies clear concern for him. He sighed and pulled away from Shigaraki. He turned and headed to the exit. "I'm going for a walk."
"Hey! You can't just wander around anymore! We have a target on our backs now!" Toga said, grabbing his sleeve. She pulled him back. "Just stay here and we can talk this out!"
Twice nodded "It will make you feel better if you tell us! I don't want to hear about your damn problems!"
Dabi yanked his arm back and suppressed the twinge of guilt that came seeing the hurt in Toga's eyes. He turned his back on them and reached for the door handle. "I'll be back before morning."
And with that, he left, slamming the door behind him.
Toga went to follow but was pulled back by Shigaraki who put a four fingered grip on her shoulder. "Don't. Give him some time."
Toga pouted, "You're just gonna let him leave!?"
"He'll be back," He said simply. He pulled his hand back and scratched his neck. "He hasn't struck me as the sharing sort. Just let him come back when he's ready."
Kurogiri hummed in agreement, "Indeed, Dabi might be better off on his own for the time being."
"Isn't there the risk of him getting attacked?" Spinner inquired.
Shigaraki let out a raspy laugh, "Have you seen those flames of his? I fear for the hero who dares approach him."
That seemed to be enough to quell the Leagues somewhat, but the tension caused by their members' absence continued to make them all tense.
