8. Capture The Flag!

{After three days of intense training, Aizawa was sure that you weren't going to accidentally incinerate yourself or the other students, so he allowed you to join the rest of the class for physical training games.}

When you were able to slip on the navy blue U.A training uniform that matched Izuku's and his classmates, you felt like it was honestly the best day of your life.

Your friend beamed at you as you walked onto the field, "Y/N! You finally get to join us!" He wrapped you in a hug.

The your friends in 1-A greeted you enthusiastically and you felt right at home with them.

"Hey! Nice to see you!" Denki greeted.

"Ready to train with us?" Iida asked.

You gave them a determined smile "You bet!"

"Are you ok?" Yaoyorozu inquired, looking at the bandages around your arms. "Did you get hurt again?"

{After realizing the pain would be detrimental to your progress, Aizawa had an extra set of bandages made from the same material as his scarf for you to wear on your arms. This way he was able to keep his capturing weapon while also having a way to keep you safe from your fire.}

"Not this time!" You smiled and held out your arm. "It's the same material as Aizawas scarf! It prevents me from burning!"

Izuku's eyes glittered, "That's amazing!"

Shockingly, Bakugo said nothing. He just looked at you and seethed with an unreadable expression. You bit back a smirk. How confused and upset he must be, now that it was known that two of the kids he used to bully were now on even ground with him.

"Alright everyone, settle down." Aizawa stepped into the center field. "Today we are going to be playing a game of capture the flag in the forest grounds behind me. You will all be split up into two teams. Team blue and team orange. The rules are simple. You must get the flag from the opposing team onto the platform on your own side without getting caught or intercepted. You have approximately an hour and 30 minutes to complete this goal. Everyone understand?"

The class nodded.

"Good." He pulled two flags out from his pockets. "Bakugo, Todoroki, Hagakure, Mineta, Koda, Jiro, Sero, Aoyama, Kaminari and Ashido are team orange."

He tossed the orange flag to Bakugo who caught it with a sneer.

"Midoriya, Uraraka, Kirishima, L/N, Tokoyami, Sato, Asui, Iida, Yaoyorozu, Shoji and Ojiro are team blue."

He tossed the blue flag to Yaoyorozu.

"Nice! Looks like we're against each other. Think you can beat us Bakugo?" Kirishima teased.

Bakugo growled, "You don't stand a chance shitty hair!"

"B-But the teams are uneven!" Mineta protested. "They have 11, we only have 10."

Aizawa looked unfazed, "Yes, well I feel it evens itself out with the downside that the extra person poses a risk of burning his teammates alive."

Uraraka blinked, "He what!?"

"Alright, with all that settled, we can begin." Aizawa clapped his hands. "Head over to your sides. You have 10 minutes to plan!"

"We should come up with a plan," Uraraka said, tying the blue flag to the pole at the platform's center.

"Indeed! We need to COORDINATE!" Iida agreed.

"We should split up," Momo said. "Three of us can protect the flag, three patrolling the perimeter, two guarding the border and three to head over and capture the enemy flag."
