The League stared in shock at the paused image on the screen. They were struck into disbelief.

It was footage of the Sports Festival.

A U.A schoolboy with a determined grin was poised in combat against a classmate. Blue fire flowed from his hands, illuminating the arena in a blue haze.

"Look familiar?" Shigaraki asked, scratching his neck. "Saw this live while you all were out and about. Looks like there's a very important topic of discussion to focus on now." He scowled. "Wouldn't you agree? Dabi?"

Everyone turned and looked at the newly cloned villain at the back of the room.

Dabi looked at the footage, his eyes examining the video closely. Yeah the fire was blue, but besides that he had no idea about what was so interesting about it.

"Got anything to say?" His leader pushed.

Dabi shrugged, and stared down his boss "Fire Quirks are common."

"It's not a just a fire Quirk." Shigaraki muttered. "The kid called it cremation."

Dabi froze, a rare look of surprise crossing over his face. He redirected his gaze to the screen, observing it more thoroughly.

The fire was indeed the exact shade of blue his had been, which was not too shocking as fire quirks could come in a whole variety of shades. But what set it apart was the white center that indicated the fire was in fact, coloured blue due to extreme heat rather then just by aesthetics.

On top of that, the wielder on screen was sporting achingly familiar burns and bandages, indicating a lack of resistance to the blaze. Their U.A uniform was turning to ashes around the sleeves and the bandages were singing at the edges. Despite that, the kid's hair was untouched by the flames and his eyes did not squint against the heat.

That was the most implicating part of it. His hair and eyes had been the only parts of Dabi that didn't burn.

Realization settled in.

That was, in fact, his Quirk. He must've passed it on with vestige before his death.

{Dabi had learned Twices Quirk was far more powerful than he thought when it came to creating clones. He remembered everything from his past that he had never breathed a word of to anyone, meaning he was a true copy of Dabi, not a copy based only on Twices knowledge of him. And with the molecular stabilization Quirk placed on him, he might as well be the real deal.

But despite that,he had no idea what had happened in those last moments. His last memory was an argument with Shigaraki, and then suddenly he was in the bar, surrounded by the league who were crying hysterically and hugging him and telling him he had died.

Dabi had initially expected that it was his lung damage that did him in, but then he learned from the League of the blue fire that had demolished his body and the entirety of the industrial district and he realized that his demise might've not been so simple.

Regardless of the exact events, you must've crossed paths with him and he gave you Cremation with vestige.}

Dabi had never actually thought he would use vestige as it kills the Quirks original holder after use, meaning passing cremation on would've been suicide. This was obviously a big turn off as his whole purpose relied on Endeavor burning and he resented letting his existence end before that. That meant that the only reason for passing on his power was that he had either been dying or knew of his coming death.

He tilted his head and observed the boy on the screen rather than just his quirk.

Dabi knew himself better than anyone. He would've coped letting his power die with him with the knowledge that Twice could just clone him. It wasn't ideal of course, but it would be better than giving up his life to give cremation to some stranger.
