You glared at your hair, running your hand through the discolored locks. The white color was growing very fast and you were struggling to keep up with dying it. The red parts of your hair were about 5 inches long now, and you knew that your next haircut would end up trimming all of the remaining h/c off.

It was so strange to have had one hair color all your life, only to have it change so drastically and noticeably. It was such an obvious part of your appearance you struggled to think of how it was now changed forever.

You shook your head, deciding not to dwell on it. Whenever you thought too hard about your looks you would end up scrutinizing every scar and burn on your body and make yourself feel bad for no reason.

'A small price to pay for a Quirk,' Dabi's voice said in your head.

You agreed, but it didn't make you any less shallow when it came to your looks.

Grabbing a mixing bowl off the counter, you began the tedious process of combining chemicals to get that precise shade of crimson.

'Why is it turning white? Why do I need to cover it?' You asked. 'Was your hair white too?'

'Just dye it. Trust me,' he said evasively.

You huffed, but made no move to question him further.

An hour later you emerged from the bathroom, your hair freshly dyed and your body clean.

Izuku was sitting on his bed, reading an All-Might magazine. He looked up as you entered the room, "Oh! I was wondering what you were doing in there."

"Just touching my hair up," you said, toweling it dry.

"I thought you did that last week?" He asked.

"I did. I need to do it every week or my natural color grows in." You said

He frowned, "Well that's inconvenient. You should have dyed the tips instead and left the roots h/c so you don't have to redo it all the time."

You sighed, "What a great idea that would have been."

Izuku didn't need to know about the fact that it was impossible now that your hair was growing in colorless, so you just agreed.

You decided to switch the topic as to not mope about your hair even more. "How is your shoulder doing?"

Izuku winced and placed a hand on it, "It still kind of hurts. The doctors did what they could but....." he frowned. "Everytime I close my eyes it's like I can feel the blade. I've never been stabbed before, it was just so shocking....."

You looked at him sympathetically, "I'm sorry you had to go through that Izu, really."

He gave you a weak smile, "Hey, we survived right? And that's all that matters!"

You sighed, "I'm just grateful we managed to avoid getting punished by the program and the authorities."

{The consequences of the Hosu incident rang strongly throughout Japan. The acts of Gran Torino and Endeavor against the Nomu's lead you, Izuku and Shotos encounter with the Stain impersonator to be kept under the radar. It was better that way for everyone in your opinion, helping limit the fear flowing from the public at the whole situation.

The work experience in the days following mostly involved helping with overnight patrol and recovery efforts in Hosu. Izuku was ordered to have bedrest for the next few days by Gran Torino, who was less than impressed with him running off but seemed more concerned with his physical health.}

You headed over to your dresser and pulled on some clothes. You would be changing as soon as you got to the agency so you just grabbed whatever and threw it on.
