{It had been a day since you had been captured. The raid on Overhauls headquarters was set to be launched at noon. Izuku would go to his death and you would remain in the cage at the will of the Hero Commission.}

The containment room you were in wasn't deplorable by any means but it felt torturous nonetheless. There was a single bed, a covered bathroom and a bookshelf. There were no cameras but there were armed guards outside the door.

The temperature was kept so low that your breath came out in puffs and clouds of frosty fog covered the metal walls and floor. You couldn't feel it due to your cold immunity, but your body was chilled thoroughly by it and prevented Cremation from generating heat of any sort. It was a failsafe in case your Quirk got out of control and destroyed the many suppressor devices that had been strapped to your chest and arms.

You had been stripped of your gear and your hero costume, leaving you in a T-shirt and shorts.

You paced back and forth, mind racing and reeling. You felt angry and betrayed. You wanted to fight and scream and light something on fire, but you were unable to do anything but seeth in your own hatred. You were mad at Endeavor, at Shoto...... maybe even Izuku......

But mostly you were mad at yourself for trusting them. Even after knowing what the Todoroki family was like, what Enji was like, you let your stupid childish dreams get the better of you.

'At least you realize that now,' Dabi said slyly. He lay on the cot in the corner, lazily playing with blue fire between his fingers. 'Realizing you were delusional is the first step.'

You didn't know how he was there, he just was. Perhaps you had finally cracked and gone insane. Either way he was really getting on your nerves. You scowled at him and clenched your fists, "It's your fault I'm in here, if you hadn't been such a pest I would have kept it together!"

He spared you a lazy glance, "I think we both know that's a lie."

You hissed and turned away, scratching your arms and glowering at the wall. "Well, it doesn't matter now. We are both screwed. The commission is going to do god knows what with us and Izuku-" your throat tightened.

Overhaul would probably kill him to get back at you.

You were such a fool.

You had fallen into his trap and framed yourself, leaving him free to hurt those you cared for most.

If that raid was unsuccessful, your friends were dead.

You sighed, "Him and the others are screwed......"

"Gonna give up then?" Dabi inquired.

You threw your arms out, "Well what the hell else can I do!? I'm stuck here until the commission decides otherwise."

"Yeah, until they decide you can go back to being a hero puppet," Dabi snorted, "They are probably just gonna slap you on the wrist and keep you here until they can cover up your little fire incident. What honest, reliable people aren't they? Covering up dads crimes as well as yours......"

Sighing you pressed the palms of your hands into your eyes. "I need to get out of this..." you muttered.

Something buzzed from above, crackling through the intercom near the door. "Rosoku, how are you doing?" The voice of Yokumiru Mera asked.

You felt a twinge of relief despite yourself. You haven't heard anything from anyone in hours and irrationally feared that they had forgotten you. "Mera-san, I need to get out of here," you said desperately, "My friends are in danger. The raid Nighteye is conducting, it's going to bring them right into Overhauls hands. I need to help them."
