"You don't understand," Bakugo growled, his fingers twitching. "It's completely abnormal."

Kirishima groaned, "Seriously man? This again!? I'm telling you, late Quirk acquisition isn't that weird of a thing. It's rare sure, but not some kind of shady conspiracy."

"It is when it comes to those two!" He snapped. "Two Quirkless losers mysteriously obtain Quirks to get into U.A!? That doesn't just happen! What are the chances of that even happening, like 1 in 5 million!?"

Kirishima sighed and put down his pencil, accepting that no homework was going to get done while his friend was like this, "It's not some kind of huge conspiracy, man. Just a coincidence. Besides, only Midoriya is in the hero program. Y/N is just coming here to make sure he's safe."

"I know!" He snapped. "But that doesn't change the fact that he's being treated like a student rather than the safety hazard that he actually is. Hell, I bet they are gonna let him take the final exam out of pity, make him feel like a student rather than a charity case."

Kirishima scowled, "Reign it in bro. It's a hero school, training a dangerous Quirk is going to make the hazard disappear."

"Yeah? So would locking him up. If Deku didn't stick his nose into it I'm certain that would have been the case." The blonde scoffed. "Those two worthless bastards think they can actually make a difference."

Kirishima snapped his binder shut and stood. He grabbed his pencils and started shoving them into his bag.

Bakugo scowled, "What are you doing!?"

"I said before if you didn't stop acting like a jerk obsessing over those two then I would leave. So I'm leaving. You can study alone." He said calmly.

Bakugo scowled, "Fine! Go! See if I care!"

"I am." Kirishima said. He pushed in his seat and headed to the library door. "Text me once you calm down and actually want to study."

"Tch, whatever...." Bakugo muttered and the door closed behind the spiky haired boy. He suppressed his urge to call him back and slumped in his seat, rage seething beneath his skin.

It wasn't fair that he had to put up with these extras. It wasn't fair that he was forced to be stuck with you and that Deku who weren't even supposed to set foot in this goddamn school.

He was the one being disparaged here.

He honestly didn't care about Deku at this moment anymore. He figured out where the Quirk had come from. He figured out how he was even able to attempt to enter the school. But you? He had no idea what had happened, but he knew for a fact it wasn't natural like Kirishima said.

There was something deeper at work here and he wasn't about to let it slip by unmanaged.

He wasn't fooled like the rest of the class by your starry eyes, Quirk knowledge and love for cultivating bro-mances.

He had seen you Quirk and heard on the news what it could do. You were a threat to yourself and others.

And there had to be a reason why you were here besides coincidence.

Bakugo gritted his teeth and pressed the lead of his pencil into the table until it snapped.

If he was alone in this, then so be it.
