It had been almost twenty-four hours since Firey had kissed Leafy.

He was currently sitting in Rusty Coin's bar, drinking a beer and trying to figure out what the hell he was supposed to do.

Rusty had seen him sitting in the corner with his head in his hands and he walked over to check on the short-tempered man.

"You alright Firey? You've been sitting here looking stressed ever since ya got here," he said as he pulled up a chair and sat in front of Firey.

"You remember that Idol I'm working for?" Firey asked, looking up from his drink.

"Yep, she's famous, right?" Rusty nodded.

"I kissed her,"

"Huh,"

Firey cringed as Rusty gave him a blank stare, seemingly processing what he had just heard.

"You...kissed her?"

"Yes,"

"And she let you?"

"Yes,"

Rusty gave him a confused expression as he continued to mull over this newfound information before a small laugh escaped from him.

"Well, that definitely wasn't what I expected, I'd say that's a good thing if you ask me," Rusty chuckled.

"No, it isn't a good thing, I don't know what to do now," Firey groaned.

"I get what you're saying, you've been confused about this girl for a while, I'm surprised you actually did something like this," Rusty said thoughtfully.

"What do I do?" Firey complained as he held his head in his hands.

"I don't think I'll be much help here considering how out of touch I am with all this modern Idol stuff but I do know someone who can help you," Rusty smiled.

Firey knew immediately.

"Rusty, no, I'm not telling him of all people," he whined.

"If you need advice on something like this, he's your best bet, he's all up to date," Rusty said as he got up and left Firey sitting at the table.

"Goddamn it," Firey sighed.

...

"Hey Firey, what's up?"

Firey looked up to see the guy he absolutely didn't want to talk to.

Coiny l'Argent.

Coiny was Rusty's cousin, they were neighbors and when Coiny wasn't working for his medical degree, he was helping Rusty keep the bar going.

He was shorter than Firey despite being older than him, he had shaggy, copper-gold hair and he always wore fake glasses because they made him look "classy".

To top it all off, he was a total Idol fan-boy.

When Firey's family would drop produce off at the market the two would often play together and has they got older, they would simply hang out and talk.

Coiny knew everything about the Idol industry, he had his favorites whom he was boarder line obsessed with and he knew all of the dances.

Firey had always thought he was weird but Ruby had always been happy to chat with him about being an Idol.

Coiny was the one who told Ruby that people get scouted in the city this giving her the idea to run away.

A part of Firey blamed Coiny to an extent and they had stopped talking after Ruby passed away.
