"You feeling alright, Leafy?" Four asked conernedly as they stood beside Leafy backstage.

"I'm great, don't worry!" Leafy said assuringly as she gave a thumbs up.

It was a big day for Leafy, she was backstage in a TV studio waiting to be called out for a live broadcast of an interview with a famous TV personality.

It was her first interview in a while and she was very eager to get out there and wow everyone yet again.

She would be chatting with the host for around twenty minutes or so and would then perform a song before the show ended, a perfect way to show off her skills.

A stage manager called her out and she gave Four a quick fist bump before walking confidently out onto the set.

It was all very bright, she couldn't see the people working the cameras but that didn't matter to her, what mattered was the cameras themselves and how good she looked in them.

Smiling her best smile and waving sweetly, she made her way to a sofa across from the host who was sat at a small desk full of small trinkets.

"Alright alright, welcome to the show Ms Leafy Verte!" the host announced in a loud voice.

"Thank you so much for having me, Loser," Leafy smiled as she sat down.

"Wow, did you hear that cheer? You're really in demand nowadays, aren't you?" Loser said with a knowing nod.

"Ah yes, I guess I am, honestly it's all just hardwork and support that gets you here," Leafy replied bashfully.

"Now, this used to be what you were used to if I'm not mistaken," Loser said, his voice growing serious.

"You'd be right with that," Leafy gave a kurt nod.

"Do you mind if we get a bit...grittier, if you will?" Loser requested, taking a sip from his mug.

Leafy did not want to, she felt an empty, nauseous feeling in her stomach and her knuckles tensed as she clutched the fabric of her skirt.

"Of course, go ahead,"

It's all fake at the end of the day.

All of this is just ratings and views, she's becoming popular again, she's "in demand", a disgraced Idol rising the ranks once again.

Who wouldn't want to see that?

No one here actually cares about her, they just want her for entertainment, to live out a fantasy through her.

They like to be lied to, these people want a show and it was her job to provide one without failure.

"Tell us about your... controversy, if you don't mind,"

A show like this was difficult to put on, she can't paint herself as a victim but she also can't admit to being wrong, both responses would set her back months of work, she needed to find the perfect middle ground.

"I think...most people are aware that being an Idol is a lot of things all at once, of course there's the wonderful parts of it, like the fans or stage lights but there's also the emotions," she began.

"It's rather stressful and sometimes it can be tough to find a way to relax and get these emotions out in a healthy way and if you don't let these feelings out it can all just bubble until you overheat,"

"I can only imagine," Loser said sympathetically.

"I was still young at the time, I let my stress get the better of me before the show we had and I lashed out at two members of my group, I genuinely wish I had controlled myself in a more mature manner," Leafy sighed.
