A ray of sunlight shone on Firey face as he lay in bed, debating on wether or not to get out of bed or just rot there for a while.

He finally decided that he couldn't get comfortable and forced himself from the warmth of his sheets.

He had no work today and he was caught up on his college assignments for the most part meaning that today he had literally nothing to do.

Butter was staying at a vet overnight for a checkup, Firey had dropped him off this morning and had a nap when he came home.

Firey stood in the kitchen, looking out the window trying to think of how to spend the rest of the day.

In the distance he saw the newest model for the city train line, a sleek design that was perfect for commuting and it was barely two weeks old.

Maybe just getting on a train and going wherever he wanted would work for him, he had no commitments and he could just appreciate the train ride without worrying about deadlines or time.

He went to the bathroom to freshen up, put on some nicer clothes and a while later, he was locking up the apartment and walking down the stairs.

It was a calm day, there were a lot of grey clouds but the sun was still shining and made them look golden and because most people were at work or school, there was hardly anyone around.

The train station was basically empty, save for a few people who were scattered along the platform.

It was interesting to see what life was like on what was supposed to be a work day for him, it was so much calmer and there was a noticable lack of stress.

He treated himself to a mango drink from the vending machine while he waited for the train, the atmosphere was so nice he wished that more days could he like this instead of being stressful and tiring.

At long last the train arrived and for once, he was able to get a seat instead of being forced to stand for an hour.

Around thirty minutes into the journey the train stopped at a fairly large station, Firey rested his head against the window as the train that was stopped beside them started up and pulled out of the station.

A person on the platform caught his attention, she was scrolling on her phone and squinting at the screen as though she were trying to read something.

She brushed her green hair from her eyes as she looked up and she spotted him.

There was a slightly surprised expression on her face that was quickly replaced by a smile when she recognized him and she game him a wave.

Without thinking, Firey stood up from his seat and managed to exit the train in the nick of time before it left and when it did, Firey stood on the platform with a smile on his face as he waved at Leafy.

There was a bridge overhead that allowed people to cross from one platform to another, Firey turned and made his way up the stairs to cross the bridge.

Unknown to him, Leafy copied the action and when Firey reached the top of the stairs Leafy was on the other side of the bridge and the two met in the middle.

The smile on Leafy's face was sweeter than sugar and her eyes were bright and loving.

But she couldn't help it, Firey looked so cute with his fluffy hair, slightly tired eyes and his casual clothes.

He was so unlike the Firey she was used to, normally he was wearing the security uniform and had his sunglasses and a scowl on his face but right now he looked so gentle and...

Nah, she wasn't afraid to admit it, he looked handsome, the shirt he wore was slightly tight, showing the tone of his muscles and the way his eyes stared at her made her cheeks warm a bit.
