Firey stood near the building, using the shade it provided to keep him cool and to still be able to see his phone as he waited on a text from Leafy.

Filming for the movie she was going to be in had started a while ago and things were running smoothly, everyday that she filmed, she had a one hour break and most days she would hang out with Firey.

With the competition and filming, it was rare for her to have fully free days so these little hour long dates meant the world to her.

Firey heard a buzz from his phone and saw a text from Leafy saying she would be out in five minutes.

And true to her word she was, couple minutes later she was walking happily towards Firey.

"Hey," she greeted with a smile.

"Hey, how's it going?" Firey asked once she was close enough.

"Ugh, so hectic, we keep having to reshoot scenes and my muscles are aching from all the dancing at training," Leafy groaned.

"Well, I got you something that might make you feel a little better," Firey grinned.

"Ooh, what is it?" Leafy said, her eyes lighting up.

"Well, I know how much you love Butter and I came across this when I was in town and I thought you'd like it," Firey reached into his pocket and pulled out a small Pomeranian plush that looked almost identical to Butter.

"Oh my gosh, this is so cute!" Leafy squealed, taking the fluffy plush from him.

"Butter actually gave it a kiss when I showed him and said it was for you," Firey scoffed fondly.

"He's such a little sweetheart, just like you," Leafy gushed.

Firey smiled as he rolled his eyes but softened when Leafy gave him a soft kiss on the cheek.

Leafy examined the little plush, feeling the soft material it was made of but the thing that she admired most was the little green ribbon tied in a bow on the neck.

"The ribbon is so pretty, " she said in a hushed tone.

"I did that myself," Firey said with slight embarrassment.

"You did this? Firey it's beautiful," Leafy smiled softly.

"Yeah, like you," Firey said without thinking.

"Oh, what did you say?" Leafy grinned like a Cheshire cat as Firey went red.

"Nothing, didn't say anything," Firey said quickly.

"You called me beautiful," Leafy teased.

"Maybe I did, does it matter?" Firey said with embarrassment.

"It matters to me," Leafy said calmly.

"Well, like it's true so..." Firey trailed off, unable to meet her gaze as Leafy looked knowingly at him.

"You're so stupidly cute sometimes," Leafy sighed happily as she held his face in her hands and kissed him.

It was a slow, passionate kiss that Firey returned, noting the taste of strawberries her lipgloss had and he placed his hands just above her waist.

When they pulled back, they were both breathing heavily with blush gradually forming on their faces before they both went back for more.

Firey wanted to run his fingers through her hair and mess it up a bit, like he often did when their kisses became more...heated for lack of a better word but he knew that if he did that then she would have some explaining to do when she got back on set so he didn't.
