Mating is really a big deal in the pack Jimin grew up in.

And ever since Jimin turned twenty-two, he's been thinking about the same.

His parents, both bunny hybrids, mated for love, so it's safe to say that it was his parents' love life that planted the first seed in his heart, that he too must find the love of his life and get tied to his mate forever.

And Jimin has the right person in his mind, that he intends to propose and have his happily ever after with.

Jeon Jungkook, two years his younger, now twenty-four and a bunny hybrid with the most bunniest teeth, was the perfect suitor Jimin could think of when he came of age.

Jungkook has an enchanting smile that could literally sweep anyone off their feet (mostly Jimin), sparkling big eyes that hold a universe of their own and a goofy sense of humor that makes the younger the prince charming in Jimin's smitten eyes.

Not to say, Jungkook being a bunny hybrid ticks off the most important box in his 'perfect mate wish list', leaving behind the only remaining box to be fulfilled, which is to get the young bunny to like him back.

Ah, he forgot to mention that his love story is one-sided, did he?

Jimin's interest for Jungkook is requited (because Jimin will likely knee someone in the gut if they dared to say otherwise, thank you very much) and anyone who thinks he is childish for harboring a crush the size of a gigantic boulder should know that, he doesn't really feel stupid for falling for the younger.

Everything about Jungkook is compatible with him.

The other bunny is strongly built, like you could see more muscles on his body which is surprisingly unheard of for rabbits (the usual prey yapping, blah blah blah), a head taller than him (because, yes Jimin likes or moreover wants his man to throw him around like a doll), is funny (yeah, Jimin laughs easily so why not wish for a silly guy?) and should be able to take care of him and their kits (a family man, his absolute dream).

To top it off, Jungkook's bunny ears are straw colored with white tipped hairs that are long, relaxed and stand erect over his ebony hair, totally in contrast to Jimin's short drooped fluffy ears that are a creamy white colored and sit atop his brunette hair.

The younger's tail resembles a round loaf of bread, short but made of the softest coat of fur. It's a surprise Jimin hadn't let his intrusive thoughts win and played with the round fluffy scut every time it twitched before his bewitched eyes. True, true, he knows that it sounds weird, but as a rabbit in his late twenties and searching for a mate, he has his needs.

So basically, his one important need right now includes walking up to the said person, the man of his dreams and maybe, just perhaps, create his oh moment, the sort where he can rant to his children's how he met their father.

If you ask him what he had in his mind, that if it is an elaborate plan to make Jungkook fall head over heels for him, you will likely get an answer that's equal parts unconvincing and bizarre. Because there is no plan.

As much as his wish to make the younger man his mate, Jimin should really start with formulating a full sentence in front of the other bunny.

Words seem to fail him whenever he is presented with a chance to speak to Jungkook. In addition to a blushing mess in front of the person he wants to woo, he stutters pathetically like a school girl with a crush that it's almost embarrassing to think he is the older one between him and Jungkook, a man nearing his thirties.

What's there to be afraid of approaching your love interest with a proposal? Jimin thinks he can move on if his love isn't reciprocated. He might be sad for a while (he is a crybaby, he surely will be moody for months) but it's not like he can force someone to accept his feelings.
