In the end, Jimin was left with no choice other than to drag his tired feet to Taehyung's house. His new home. Their home.

This is where he will be starting another phase of his life. As someone's husband. As Taehyung's mate.

If he was in his right mind and not tired from surviving the shock of his life, perhaps Jimin would have taken the time to sit down and go through the events that unfolded today.

So, Jungkook and Namjoon are a thing. And apparently from the looks of it, some (including his best friend) were aware of them being not so platonic. Not that Seokjin said it outright to his face. Something about the elder steering clear of the topic all together gave Jimin all he needed to know. Seems like he was the biggest fool here.

What matters now to him isn't losing the person he was crushing on. It's how he is expected to pick his life up from where it was left broken and start a new chapter with a person he never thought of in that way.

Taehyung. The tiger hybrid who could have chosen anyone.

As far as what Jimin got to know tonight, the tiger was being pursued by plenty of admirers from their pack. He overheard a girl, a panda hybrid, express her distraught over Taehyung deciding to mate with a rabbit. One even had the audacity to glare at him. Jimin is not sure, but he thinks she was a bear hybrid and a couple of inches shorter than him. And she looked so young, too. How old was she? Sixteen?

It would have been a little less unnerving if he had someone to run to for solace. Seokjin wasn't trying to be helpful in the least bit. The fox hybrid abandoned him a little after saying, which he quotes, 'I have an important business to take care of'. The business has been tailing Yoongi Hyung and walking the cat hybrid home. If Jimin's life wasn't a complete mess, he would have teased the elder endlessly for being a sap.

Seokjin being so smitten in love and going out of his way to give the cat hybrid the special treatment is so adorable. Jimin is forbidden from disclosing this secret to Seokjin (of course, Yoongi blackmailed Jimin into keeping his mouth shut with the threat of outing his crush to Jungkook) where Jimin was the only witness to Yoongi sweep kicking a wolf hybrid, who has been adamant in wooing Yoongi's hand for mating. Jimin can't imagine the look of horror that will be on Seokjin's face if he spills the truth to the elder. As much as the thought is tempting to him, it's best he doesn't act impulsively and destroy his Hyung's love life. Different from him, his Hyung at least has a chance at love.

Before disappearing for the night searching for his darling, Seokjin had pushed something into his hand, leaning down to hug him one last time. Closing his palm over Jimin's clasped hand, the fox hybrid looked him straight in the eye, muttered in a rush the words, 'Good luck, use this and go wait for your husband at his home and oh, make sure he doesn't go at it all night'. His traitorous best friend then turned him around by the shoulders and shooed him away before Jimin could cuss him out.

Jimin stared in dread at the house key his Hyung dropped unceremoniously in his hand, gaping at Seokjin's retreating form (partly limping?).  Seokjin bid him farewell with his hand raised in the air to wave him off. Jimin took ten seconds to shake himself out of the stupor and to let the betrayal sink in.

Honorifics be damned. The next time Jimin gets his hand on Seokjin, he is going to kick his Hyung in the butt. If he is in the mood, maybe he will babble the things he was asked to keep as classified. Nothing is more satisfying than giving Seokjin a scare that might last a lifetime.
