"I thought you and dad went to bed?" I tried to walk past my mom when she dragged me to the kitchen. She turned on the kettle and turned to me waiting for me to speak.
"What do you wanna know?" I sighed.
"What was he doing here?"
"Brought some papers over"
"Who gave you those hickeys"
"River"
"Bullshit" mom narrowed her eyes at me. "Why ask me questions when you already know the answer?"
"I just like talking to my daughter" she smiled innocently.
"Sure, mom"
"So you guys dating?"
"His actually going on a date as we speak"
"I call bullshit, let's follow him"
"Woah. I am not going to go all love quinn on this man I barely know" I looked at my mom wide eyed.
"You're no fun"
"Im going to bed"
"Fine but before you go don't let him walk all over you okay?"
"Im like legos" I winked making her chuckle. I went up to my bedroom and closed the door behind me. I turned off the light and got into bed. I grabbed my phone and saw no messages. Wow, I am so popular someone give an award.
The next morning
"Why would you come to mom and dads without me?" Chandler barged into my room.
"Shay and River are cleaning the dorm so I stayed here. What's your beef?"
"Stressed, I'm waiting for news from my boss" he sighed as he sat next to me.
"Goodluck with that, bro" I patted his shoulder.
"Thanks for the confort"
"You're welcome" I smiled.
"So you and Mason together now?"
"No, he went on a date last night after dropping some papers and almost having sex with me"
"You guys are moving fast"
"We're really not, he's so complicated" I huffed as I grabbed my bowl of snacks.
"Stop stress eating" he grabbed my snacks making me pout. "What do I do, Chandler?"
"You're only going to be his student for a few months then it's done so useless you guys are willing to wait it out..." he trailed off.
"I'll talk to him"
"Get ready and we'll head back to campus. You already missed most of your classes"
"Fine" I huffed. I got out of bed, put on my shoes and grabbed my bag.
"Let's go" Chandler and I left the house and headed back to campus. When we arrived, I had to go straight to my class which would be English. I hope this class rolls by fast.
I headed into the class and headed straight for the seat at the back next to shay. "Hey baby" shay smiled as I sat down.
"Hey, is the dorm clean and my broom replaced?" I narrowed my eyes at shay who gave me a guilty smile.
"Yes and we even bought you a new pink fuzzy chair" she smiled.
"You're taking me for coffee and cookies after this right?"
