Phuwin noticed that Pond has been nervously tapping his feet on the floor.
He reached for his hand under the table to calm him down
He gave it a squeeze, Pond looked at him
Phuwin gave him an assuring smile
Pond smiled back at him
They were in Mook's café, currently waiting for her to come out of her office
Phuwin was going to introduce Pond to her
"There she is." Phuwin said when Mook stepped out of her office and she was walking towards them
Phuwin and Pond stood up, Phuwin let go of his hand
"Hi, Phuwin! So nice to see you again." Mook widely smiled and hugged Phuwin
"P'Mook." Phuwin gave her a wai after the hug
Mook's attention turned to Pond, Pond simply swallowed the lump in his throat
"Good morning, phi." Pond politely said, giving her a wai
Mook asked Phuwin, "Is he the one you're talking about?"
Phuwin smiled, "Yes, phi, he is Pond."
"Hi, I've heard so much about you. I'm Mook, Win's best friend." Mook smiled and held out her right hand
"It's nice to finally meet you, phi. I'm Pond." Pond smiled back and accepted her hand
"Don't be nervous around me. I'm not that strict like Win." Moo said, causing them to laugh
Then they sit, Mook sit across from the two
Mook asked, "Did you guys already order?"
Phuwin shook his head, "No, not yet, phi."
Mook nodded, "I got you."
Then she called one of her employees, a girl employee quickly went to their table
"They're gonna order and everything that they will order, it's on me." Mook said to the employee
The girl said, "Yes, ma'am."
"Phi, it's okay —"
Mook immediately cut Phuwin off, "Don't even try. It's totally fine."
Phuwin and Pond said their order to the waiter
"Thank you." the two said then the waiter left
Mook asked Pond, "Did you officially meet Win already?"
Pond shook his head, "Not yet, phi. I don't think it will be anytime soon."
"And yet, he's already wreck nervous, P'Mook." Phuwin said, shaking his head in amusement
Mook chuckled at that, "It will be fine, just be yourself and don't let Win see that you're nervous because he's surely gonna make you even more nervous on purpose."
Pond chuckled as well, "I'll take note of that, phi, thank you."
Mook widened her eyes in excitement when she saw who just entered her café
Pond and Phuwin's back were facing the entrance
Mook asked Pond, "You ready now?"
Pond gave her a confused look and asked, "On what, phi?"
"Win, my dear friend!" Mook stood up and approached Win
Pond froze and slowly looked at Win
Phuwin started to be nervous as well
"Why didn't you tell me you'd drop by?" Mook asked Win while pulling away from him
Win smiled at her, "It will be just for a short period of time anyway."
"While you're waiting for your coffee, I have someone for you to meet." Mook said, she hooked her arm with Win and dragged him
Phuwin and Pond immediately faced the other side again
Phuwin whispered to him, "Hey, you can do this."
Pond let out a heavy deep breath before nodding
Mook and Win stood in front of them
"Phuwin?" Win said upon seeing Phuwin
Phuwin smiled at him, "Hi, phi."and Win turned his attention to Pond
Pond simply swallowed the lump in his throat
"Good morning, P'Win." Pond stood up and bowed down to him
Mook and Phuwin were trying not to laugh
Win slowly said, "Good morning as well." he was kinda confused about what was happening
"Please, sit." said by Win and Pond immediately sit again
Mook and Win sit across from them
Mook stood up again, "I'll just tell the counter about your coffee. Be right back."
"And please, go easy on Pond, yeah? He's a nice kid." Mook patted Win's shoulder before going
Win asked them, "What are the two of you doing here?"
He added, "Having a date?"
Phuwin smiled, "Uh, no, phi, I just introduced Pond to P'Mook."
Win nodded at that
And he asked him, "When are you planning to introduce him to me if ever I didn't bump into you guys here?"
Phuwin chuckled, "Whenever Pond's ready, phi."
Win looked at Pond who was still nervous
Then he asked him, "Do I look like an unapproachable person?"
Pond immediately answered, "No, certainly no, phi."
"Then there's no need for you to be nervous around me but if you say or do a stupid thing in front of me right now, I'll just make Phuwin to rethink his life decisions." Win said in his serious tone while looking at Pond
Pond stopped breathing for a moment, Phuwin and Win laughed at him
"Hey, I'm just kidding. I'm not that bad of a brother. Please, breathe now." Win said after laughing
Pond smiled and let out a heavy deep breath
"It's nice to finally meet you, Pond." Win smiled, holding out his right hand
"It is an honor for me to meet you, phi." Pond smiled back and accepted Win's hand
Pond added after their handshake, "And I wanna say congratulations to you, P'Win, though, you didn't win, you still gave your all and I think that's really amazing."
Win smiled at that, "Thank you, Pond."
Mook came back with their orders, the waiter put their drinks and foods down on the table
"Thank you." they said to the waiter
Mook sit beside Win again
Win said, "Dunk's not asking me to meet your brother yet."
Pond chuckled, "I'm telling you right now, phi, Joong will be more nervous than I did."
Win chuckled as well, "Then I'll also make fun of him for a bit."
Mook asked Win, "Where are you heading after this?"
Win snickered, "To my home office. I gotta get back doing my real work."
"Right, phi, I heard from dad that you'll also start going to his office." Phuwin said and ate a spoonful of his chocolate mousse
Win said, "Yup, I'll be having a three days work onsite and two days work from home."
Mook uttered, "Perks of being a CEO's son."
"Oh, tell me about it." Win sighed and his phone rang

Dad

Win answered the call, "Dad."
His dad asked, "Are you in your home office already?"
"I'm still on the way. Why?" Win asked him back
His dad responded, "Head here directly instead. The board meeting will be pushed through today."
"Alright, dad, got it." said by Win
"Take care, son." his dad said before ending the call
"I gotta leave now. Dad wants me to head directly to his office." Win stood up and put his phone inside his pocket
Win nodded at Mook, "Talk to you later, Mook."
She nodded back and waved at him
Win get his iced coffee on the table
Win said, "Let's meet again some time, Pond, nice talking to you."
Pond smiled at him, "Nice talking to you too, phi, take care."
"See you at home, bro." Win patted Phuwin's shoulder before leaving
Phuwin yelled behind, "Say hi to dad for me!"
Win gave him a thumbs up while walking to the door of the café
"You did well, Pond." Mook gave Pond a two thumbs up
Phuwin smiled
Pond smiled as well, "Thank you, phi."
