Moving forward to Bright's birthday.
The whole town was very cooperative to celebrate their beloved mayor's birthday

Bright was in his office
He called, "Force."
Force who just finished talking to an employee, immediately stood beside Bright's table
Force responded, "Yes, sir?"
Bright asked him, "How's the lunch going? Can they make it on time?"
Bright was gonna have a birthday lunch treat for all of the municipal's employees
Force nodded, "Certainly, sir."
He added, "They'll be here exactly at 12 noon."
Bright asked, "That'll be distributed, right?"
Force answered, "Yes, sir. I'll be assisting them."
Bright nodded at that, "Thank you."

Before the office hours could end, Bright didn't know that the employees has a surprise party for him
"Sir, we got a situation." Force informed Bright
"I'm listening." Bright put down the iPad that he was holding
Force reported, "Someone is rallying in front of the municipal's conference hall."
Bright raised an eyebrow, "What? What for?"
"The guy said that he won't stop until he sees you." said by Force
Bright stood up, "Is that all?"
"And did the security check if he's unarmed?" Bright asked, making his way to the door
Force opened the door for him and answered, "Yes, sir. The guy is totally unarmed. I'm guessing that he just wants to meet and see you."
"Alright, we'll give him that." Bright left his office

Then they got outside
"Is he inside?" Bright asked while pointing at the conference hall
"Yes, sir. The security is talking to him." Force's answer
Bright's personal body guards opened the conference hall's door for him
All of the lights switched on at the same time
Bright closed his eyes, he got blinded by sudden brightness of the lights
"Happy Birthday, Mr. Mayor!" all of the municipal's employees shouted
Bright opened his eyes and smiles
Then a confetti popped and all of them clapped
Force leaded Bright to the mini stage in front and handed Bright the mic
"Woah, I really thought someone was rallying outside." Bright stared, making them to laugh
Bright continued, "You've all done well, guys. Thank you all so much." then he saw the row of foods
"I see that you guys even prepared some foods. I deeply appreciate all of these. Alright, thank you all, once again. Let's enjoy the rest of the afternoon." Bright finished his impromptu speech
The municipal's employees clapped
Bright turned to Force and handed him back the mic
"Happy Birthday, sir." Force bowex down and held out his hands
Bright chuckled and put the mic on Force's hands
He patted Force's shoulder, "Thank you, Force."
Then every head of the departments in the municipal came up to Bright and gave him their department's gift.
"You guys didn't even have to, but thank you." Bright smiled at them

After office hours ...
Bright stood up from his chair and picked up his coat from the coat rack and wore it
He was about to dial Win's number but Pond called him on facetime first
"What now?" Bright gave his brother a bored look
"Happy Birthday, P'Bright!" Joong's face suddenly showed up
"Happy Birthday, phi!" Pond said as well
Bright rolled his eyes, "Oh, please, you two already greeted me for the nth time today. What's up?"
He was still standing beside his work table
Pond nervously asked, "Phi, is it possible for me to have my allowance for next week advanced?"
Bright raised an eyebrow at him, "And why?"
Then Bright added, "You better come up with a good and convincing reason, Naravit."
"What about you, Archen?" Bright looked at Joong who was just beside Pond
Joong reacted, "Oh."
"Phi, I'll be having a photoshoot in a beach resort in Phuket this weekend and it will be really nice if Dunk can come with me. Could you help me ask P'Win to let him go with me?" Joong even gave his P'Bright his puppy eyes
Bright let out a deep sigh, "I'll be home later. We're not done with this conversation yet."
He added, "I'll talk to the two of you at home."
Joong and Pond nervously looked at each other before looking at their P'Bright again
Joong smiled, "Phi, you don't need to stress yourself over us. You should just enjoy your day."
Pond added, "We don't want you to feel even just an ounce of stress in your special day."
"Well, too damn late." Bright rolled his eyes for the second time
"I'll go now. Make sure I will see the both of you  later when I go home." Bright said, pointing a finger at them
The two said, "Yes, phi."
Bright ended the facetime and he immediately dialled Win's number after
After a few rings, Win answered the call
"To whom do I owe the pleasure of this phone call with our Mr. Mayor?" Win said, causing Bright to chuckle
He left his office, Force was just right behind him
"Dramatic." Bright shook his head in amusement
"Win said, Why did you call, anyway? It's still office hours."
"But it's already 5 PM." Bright said while looking at his wrist watch
Win snickered, "Oh, I got lost track of time. Sorry."
Bright got inside in the middle black Range Rover
"How's your birthday going so far? Anything special happened?" asked by Win
Bright hummed, "Hmm." then he added, "The municipal's employees had a surprise for me."
Win reacted, "Really? That's very nice then."
Bright continued, "Yeah, each department even gave me a gift."
Win reacted again, "That's so thoughtful of them."
"I know, right? I'm more than glad that I work with those kind of people." said by Bright
Win uttered, "Then I'm happy for you as well."
He added, "Where are you heading now, anyway?"
Bright answered, "Home. We're still going to eat dinner, right?"
Win responded, "Well, yeah."
He added, "Actually, I already made a reservation to a restaurant. I'll just message you the details."
Bright smiled, "Alright then. I guess, I'll just see you there later."
Win smiled as well, "Definitely."
