"How did you know about this restaurant?" Bright asked, just finished parking in front of it
"Ever been here before?" Bright's second question
Win rolled his eyes, "Of course, how else am I going to know how good this restaurant is?"
Bright chuckled at that
"Come on, Mr. Mayor." Win patted Bright's leg and left the car first
Bright shook his head in amusement before following Win
They entered the restaurant and a waiter was standing by the entrance
The waiter widened his eyes upon recognizing their city's Mr. Mayor and his rival in the last mayoral election
"Hello, good evening." Bright greeted the waiter first
The waiter bowed his head, "Good evening, sir."
Win smiled at him, "Good evening." then Win added, "Reservation under my name, Metawin."
"Yes, sir." the waited nodded after checking it on the monitor in front of him
The waited leaded the way, "This way, please."
The waiter leaded them to a table outside, in the balcony of the restaurant at the back
"Thank you." they both said to the waiter
"Have a wonderful evening." the waiter bowed his head before leaving
"Is this your treat?" Bright asked with a smile playing on his lips, picking up the menu from the table
"Am I the one celebrating a birthday?" Win asked back, flipping the pages of the menu
Bright laughed, "Alright, alright."
Win said, "Just kidding. It's my treat."
"Should I have their most expensive food then?" Bright asked, giving Win a teasing look
Win teased back, "You can even have everything on the menu."
Bright snickered, "I'd like that."

They just finished eating their appetizer and main dish, their dessert just got served
"What? You want more dessert?" Bright asked upon seeing Win called the waiter
Win just smiled at him before giving a thumbs up to the waiter
"I got a surprise for you. So, you have to close your eyes." said by Win
Bright chuckled, "What?"
Win whined, "Come on, close your eyes now."
"Alright, alright." Bright smiled, closing his eyes
The waiter put down the plate of a piece of chocolate mousse cake (Bright's favorite cake) with a small card on the table in front of Bright
"Thank you." Win whispered to the waiter
The waiter smiled back and bowed down before leaving
Win excitedly said, "You can open your eyes now."
Bright snickered and opened his eyes
The light of the candle that came with the chocolate mousse cake reflected on Bright's face
Bright reacted, "Woah."
Win was just watching him with a smile on his face
"What's this?" Bright was about to pick up the small card but Win immediately stopped him
Win said, "You can take a look at that later. Make a wish first before the candle melts."
"Alright." Bright chuckles, shaking his head in amusement
Bright closed his eyes again and made a wish in his mind then he blew his birthday candle
Bright smiled at Win, "Thank you, Win."
Win said, "You haven't received all of my birthday presents for you yet."
Bright asked, "There's more?"
Win nodded with a smile
"You can take a look at the card now." said by Win
Bright looked at Win first before looking at the small card and picked it up
Then he opened it

It's a piece of cake to say yes.
Happy Birthday.

That's what written on the card
Bright couldn't believe what he just read
He looked at Win and looked at the small card again
Win laughed, "What?"
Bright nervously asked, "What does it mean?"
Win laughed at him
Bright spoke again, "Come on, I'm trying to keep my sanity here."
"Alright, sorry." Win said after laughing
Then he said, "It means exactly the first thing that came into your mind after reading it."
Bright asked, "Could you stand up for a second, please?"
Win gave him a confused look then stood up
Bright immediately stood up, made his way to Win and hugged him, catching Win off guard
Bright whispered, "Oh, God, Win, I can't put to words how much I'm happy right now."
Win smiled, hugging him back
"Thank you for tonight." Bright added before pulling away
His hands were still wrapped around Win's waist and he put his forehead against Win's
He whispered, "You are the best birthday present I have ever received all my life."
Win smiled at that
Win whispered back, "Happy Birthday, boyfie." then he quickly gave the tip of Bright's nose a peck
Bright smiled as his cheeks reddened
Bright was about to kiss Win but Win put his hands to cover Bright's lips
He widened his eyes at Bright and gave him a signal to look around
Bright looked around, everyone who was in the balcony with them were staring at them with a smile on their faces
Bright smiled and waved at them
"Sorry for the bother but I'm feeling on top of the world tonight. Your Mr. Mayor is off the market now." Bright announced and pulled Win closer to him by his waist
All of the people cheered for them
Win got shy and hid his face on the crook of Bright's neck
Bright chuckled at that
"Thank you all so much." Bright said to the people
