Another day.
Win sighed for the nth time today upon reading Bright's another cheesy line

Mr. Mayor BVC 🙄

If you were a fruit, you'd be a 'fine-apple'

It's literally just 9 in the morning 🙄

Bright chuckled at that.

For a person who's the city mayor, you sure have a lot of free time

Just making time for ya 😉

Win shook his head in amusement
Instead of replying back, he decided to call Bright
"If the whole city finds out that our mayor is this flirty, I wonder, what would they think?" Win said when Bright answered his call
Bright chuckled, "Oh, baby, they would be jealous."
Win rolled his eyes, "You gotta stop being this flirty."
Bright teased him, "Why? Is it not good for your heart?"
Bright immediately added, "Alright, alright. I'll try to tone it down."
"And hey, I was like this as well to you before, wasn't I?" asked by Bright
Win confirmed, "Yeah, you were this flirty even back then."
Bright chuckled and then asked him, "What are you doing at the moment?"
"I'm waiting for Book here in my home office. Book is out for an errand. When he arrives, we'll be leaving for a meeting." Win's answer
Bright asked, "Will you be eating lunch there?"
Win responded, "I don't know. Maybe? If the meeting won't end before lunch time."
"Tell me right away. I'll send you guys lunch." said by Bright
Win immediately said, "Hey, you don't have to do that. We can just get something for ourselves there."
Book knocked on the door
Win said, "Come in." and Book came in
Then he asked Win, "Are you ready to go, sir?"
"Yes, just a minute." Win stood up from his swivel chair, Book bowed down and left his office
"Hey, Book just arrived. We're gonna leave now." Win said to Bright while wearing his coat
Bright asked, "Oh, okay. Let me know when you're done?"
Win smiled, "I will."
Bright uttered, "Take care, babe."
Win uttered back, "You too."

Their meeting just finished and due to really focusing on it, Win forgot to eat.
"Sir, do you want me to get you some food before we head back to the office?" Book asked and took a glance at Win from the rearview mirror
"I'll just settle with the food in the cafeteria." Win said, laying back on the backseat
The meeting wore him out

Win got back in his office and headed straight to his swivel chair
He tiredly put his phone out from his pocket and dialed Bright's number
He didn't even think if Bright was busy
Bright answered the call, "Hey, you just got back?"
Win hummed, "Hmm." then he asked him, "Did I call on a bad time?"
"No, no. I'm out of the office, traveling to attend some big organization's foundation day as we speak." Bright's answer
Then Bright asked Win, "How was the meeting?"
"It went fine." Win's simple answer
Bright asked, "But?"
Win rolled his eyes, "There's no but."
Bright teased Win, "Oh, yeah?" then he asked Win another question, "Well, anyway, what did you eat for lunch?"
Win simply swallowed the lump in his throat
"Hmm?" Bright hummed when it was taking a while for Win to answer
Win nervously said, "I didn't get to eat."
Bright immediately asked, "What?"
"I didn't —"
Bright cut him off, "Yes, I heard you."
Then Bright spoke again, "I want to know why you didn't get to eat."
"I got too focused on the meeting,  but don't worry, Book is at the cafeteria getting some food for me
right now." said by Win
Bright let out a sigh, "How should I not worry? You're skipping meals." then he added,  "And it surely won't be
the last time."
Win said, "I didn't mean to. I just got really too focused on the meeting. It won't happen again, I swear to you."
Bright let out another sigh then he asked Win, "Will the cafeteria food enough for you?"
Win asked back, "Yes, I guess so. Why?"
"Some foods are on the way to you. Eat well, okay? Don't skip meals again, I beg of you." said by Bright
Win couldn't help but to smile, "Alright, noted, Mr. Mayor."
"We just arrived. I'll try to finish this quickly so, that I can see you after." Bright said, causing Win to chuckle
Win said, "Don't be silly. Don't do that. I'll just wait up for you."
"Then I will really finish this quickly." Bright immediately said back
Win shook his head in amusement, "You're not even starting it yet."
"I'll see you tonight, sweetheart. Enjoy your 'late lunch'." Bright emphasized the last part
"Whatever." Win said in between laughs
Then he added, "Thank you though."
Bright uttered, "Anytime."
