Battles Aftermath

On board the bridge of his Star Destroyer, Tarkin spoke with a hologram of Emperor Palpatine, aka Darth Sidious, and reported, "Kashyyk has been captured, my lord. We're rounding up many of the surviving Wookies for transport. Three of the Jedi were killed. However, the remaining five along with some of their allies escaped the planet, and the Second Sister was killed."

Sidious simply stated, "These results are antiquit." He looked around the room, "Where are Lord Vader and the other two Inquisitors?"

"The Inquisitors are being treated in the Medical Bay. As for Lord Vader, he said he was going to his meditation room and didn't want to be disturbed."

"I see."

In another part of the ship, Vader walked down a hall, eventually, entering his meditation room, where he was greeted by a grey 2-1B Surgical Droid. As the door to the mediation room slid close, the Droid greeted Vader, "Hello, Lord Vader."

Vader simply told it, "Report."

"Well, the bodies from the battle were buried, but before that, I did as you asked and discreetly removed Appo's Inhibitor Chip and analyzed it."

"And?"

Pulling out the Inhibitor Chip, the Droid explained"Well, while the Chip has deteriorated a bit I was still able to recover the data and it is as you suspected. Among the Orders in the Chip, buried deep inside all of it is Contingency Order 151. In the event of Lord Vader acting against the interests of the Empire, and after receiving specific orders verified as coming directly from the Emperor, Imperial Army commanders will remove him by lethal force, and command of the Imperial Army will revert to the Emperor until a new command structure is established."

After a few moments, Vader held out his hand and the Droid dropped the Chip in his hand, "Good work, Droid. Now delete all you're memory banks and shut down."

The Droid nodded, "As you wish, my lord." A few beeps later the Droids eyes flashed off and it slumped where it was. Soon after, Vader crushed the Chip in his hand and dropped the shattered pieces to the floor. He then pulled out his Lightsaber, activated it, and used it to slash the Droid apart. After deactivating his saber, Vader pressed a button on his arm, causing a Mouse Droid to roll into the room, once the doors opened. Vader looked down and told the Droid, "Get rid of all this." The Mouse Droid beeped and began to collect the remains of the Chip and Droid.

Once the Mouse Droid left with all the pieces and the door closed, Vader made his way over to his chair and began to meditate. He soon found himself back in the recess of his mind, back on Mustafar. As soon as he got there, he heard the voice of Anakin Skywalker calling to him, "Helping to enslave people." Vader turned to his left and looked up at a nearby hill, where Anakin was standing with his arms crossed. The Jedi then said, "How we've become the very thing we hate the most."

Vader shouted, "Skywalker, you once again choose to foolishly face me." The Sith pulled out his Lightsaber and activated it, "Pointless."

Activating his own Lightsaber, Anakin replied, "Will see. No matter how many times it takes, I'll keep coming back to stop your madness." He charged at the Sith and raised his Lightsaber up to attack. When he swung down, Vader raised his own saber up to block, causing a saber lock, "Like Kai, Dass, and all those others, I didn't forget what it means to be a Jedi fighting for what's right." Anakin tried to add more power to his attack to push Vader back, "Unlike you and the Inquisitors."

However, Vader dug his feet into the ground to hold his ground from the attack, "You are nothing if not relentless, Anakin.

Anakin gave a smug smile and laugh, "You forgot irresponsible, a great singer, and loyal to my friends, but who's counting." His face then turned angry, as he told the Sith, "Not that you know anything about those things."
