The rest of the year went by smoothly, with a few arguments between them, Farooq had little episodes sometimes which Faiza handled perfectly. She never stopped the therapy sessions, just that most of the sessions were taken in their home.He was a fairly easy man to handle, she didn't have to be scared to talk to him, she was in a constant state of peace and stability whenever she was with him, but at the same time, a nagging feeling just wouldn't leave the back of her mind.
She would constantly worry and hope she would get pregnant, she even dragged Farooq along to several doctor's appointments where they would be told over and over again that she couldn't mother a child.
Although she already knew, the littlest bit of faith in her would be crushed whenever the doctors would break the news to her, yet she wouldn't stop going to different appointments, just to give herself a sense of comfort.
Farooq had tried to talk her out of it and had explained on several occasions that he loved her the way she was, he was an ill person and wouldn't want to bring a child into the world out of fear the child may develop his mental issues, but his wife was adamant on trying many different ways to get pregnant.
It led to a couple disagreements and fights, so he just gave up and went with the flow, but he couldn't help but being concerned about her mental state.
He sighed in exhaustion as he drove back home from the hospital, his wife was curled up in the Passengers side as she faced the door and cried her eyes out. He would turn to look at her occasionally but wouldn't know what to say, he couldn't understand what she was feeling and going through but at the same time, everything that was happening to them was for the best, or so he felt.
"Faiza," he called out.
She didn't answer him, instead she tightened her hands around herself as she sobbed even more, he parked the car outside the compound and before he could say anything to her, she flung the door open and ran into their apartment, ignoring their neighbor who was playing outside with her kids.
Farooq rubbed his hand on his face as he pursed his lips and watched the kids jump up excitedly around their mother, he knew the sight of the kids was getting too much for Faiza and it made her desperate to have kids. The cries of the babies in the midnight, their giggles in the morning and their naughtiness when walking into Farooq's apartment.
Faiza would welcome then with open arms and play with them for a bit before returning them to their mother, even though she felt like having them around permanently.
Farooq got out of the car after grabbing Faiza's bag and jacket, he greeted his neighbor and patted the kids on their heads before he headed inside and dropped the stuff on the couch.
He walked over their room and knocked but instead of opening the door, she yelled instead, "Go away!" He sighed and sat on the ground, with his back against the door. He placed his head in his hands as he wondered what he could do to calm her down and make her feel better.
Faiza wiped her tears and rinsed her face after a while, she then went to the wardrobe and changed into a casual clothing, then she opened the door but to her surprise, her husband fell on the ground on his back, she opened her mouth in shock as he shut his eyes pain.
He opened his eyes and gave her a goofy smile which made her chuckle a bit, then he quickly stood up and hugged her, "How do you feel?" He asked and she just nodded with a small smile.
Then she frowned and hugged him again, "Every doctor keeps saying you're fine, and you're telling me you don't want kids. Are you going to marry another woman without my knowledge?" She asked with a faint voice as tears glistened in her eyes, she looked at him with teary eyes still with her arms around his waist.
