*Flashback ends
Faiza splashed water on her face again and looks at the mirror to see an entirely different person, the person she saw wasn't the Faiza who was happily in love with her husband, she didn't see the Faiza that was a therapist, she didn't see the Faiza that brought light to other people's world, she didn't see the therapist that was able to cure schizophrenia.
Instead, she saw a person who was a shadow of herself, a person who kept hate and disdain in her heart, a person who would do anything to get her previous life back, anything at all, she saw a herself like an ill person, how could an ill person heal other people.
She dropped her gaze to the sink and began another round of crying until she heard a knock on the door.
"Faiza, you've been there for almost two hours, Arwa is discharged already, let's go," Farooq said and she rolled her palms into a fist, if only he knew how much she detested him, be would've stayed away from her.
She didn't reply and she just splashed more water on her face. Luckily for her, people weren't really using the toilet so she had enough privacy and enough time to let out her tears.
She heard a knock on the door again, "Faiza -"
"Go away, I'll come home later!" She yelled as she cut him off, she didn't hear any movement for a while until he finally walked away from the restroom.
After she was sure they would've gone home, she came out of the toilet and sets her eyes on a nurse who gasped on see her.
"God! What's wrong with your eyes?" She asked concerned as Faiza just shrugged and quickly walked away from her.
She carried her bag and rushed to the hospital's prayer place where she slept and spent her free time until evening, she checked her phone to see no missed call or messages from her husband, she sighed as she went outside of the hospital and took a cab home.
She didn't meet anyone in the living room upon getting home, so she used that as an opportunity to rush into her room, she locked the door after she got in and then she laid on the bed and closed her eyes to sleep.

The naming ceremony of the baby was held at the mosque where Imam Nassir helped name the baby girl.Faiza had made up her mind not to attend but upon persuasion from Rose, she decided to be present for only 30 minutes. And after thirty minutes, she stood up and walked away from the mosque, even though the baby hadn't been named yet but she couldn't care less.
She headed straight to her workplace and told her boss she would like to resume working full time again, and then she went to reception and chatted with Rose until her shift ended and they both headed to Rose's house.
Rose was already married with three children but her husband went to the park with the kids so she and Faiza had all the time in the world to talk.
"I really really detest him nowadays, like, I don't even want to see his face," Faiza said sadly as Rose sighed and shook her head as she pitied Faiza.
"Do you want to leave him?" She asked and Faiza shook her head slowly.
"No, he really was the best husband ever until he married the old woman, and I feel like if she's gone everything will be alright," she confessed while Rose put her hand on her forehead.
"Will it though? Would everything be alright?"
"I don't know, to be honest I can never forget all what he's done to me this past month. And to think my husband is a gentle man, how wrong was I all these years, I mean he raised his hand to slap me," her eyes teared up as she recall the memory and Rose rushed to hug her and calm her down.
