Aliyah made Faiza's life hell on earth and Faiza was beginning to regret ever giving her a chance, her hospitality and acceptance of her and her excessive trust in her.
She had been truly betrayed outwardly and all she could do was sit by the sidelines and watch what would transpire as her very well known husband was transforming into a stranger right before and eyes and she could do absolutely nothing about it.
She had suddenly become the third wheeler between them and she felt silenced at their behavior to even speak out or defend herself whenever she needed to.
Her husband's indifference actions in response his mother's horrible treatment of Faiza was beyond her, it weakend her even more than the words and it shattered the littlest hope she'd held on for years. Now she lived in total fear of what would happen next and she felt powerless as all she could do was watch like a sold out slave.
Aliyah was practically living in their house now, she would be at their door early in the morning and wouldn't leave the house until almost midnight, probably corrupting her son's mind the more as soon as he returned from his workplace.
Farooq almost didn't care about Faiza's whereabouts at that point, she came in whenever she liked and he wouldn't bat and eyelash, he wouldn't even acknowledge her presence. All he knew and all he saw was his mother.
Faiza would sit on her bed every night and cry her eyes out, wishing she had someone she could run back to and tell all her heartaches to. Her mother-in-law who she'd thought would fill that space just backed on her and now she was left again, feeling more like an orphan than she'd ever felt in her life.
Tears was no longer a stranger to her and it turned to the most constant thing in her life. She felt so lost and out of place and from there she had begun to develop mild depression and cognitive disorders, where she would be unable to control her thoughts and sometimes her behaviors all while her husband was enjoying his sweet time with his mother.
*FLASHBACK ENDS
Diana and Lilly made sure Faiza was engaging in conversations and activities at all times.
She wasn't allowed to sit by herself for more than a few minutes so as to not trigger her past memories and stop her from healing. So for the next month, they had been doing just that and they noticed significant improvement in Faiza's behaviors and cognitive development.
She was still not allowed to move beyond the hospital's premises since the last incident but Mrs Adams was preparing another outing occasion for her, to track her progress and to know what they still had to work on.

Imam raised his head from his phone slowly to see Farooq's slim figure walk into the mosque with a few shopping bags in his hand.
"Assalamualaikum," he greeted as he sat down and Imam returned his greeting and returned his gaze back to his phone.
"What did you bring to the mosque?" Imam asked without looking up at him.
"I bought a few things I thought we might need at the mosque, toilet brush and I got us some toothbrushes too and some snacks," he said rummaging through the shopping bag while Imam nodded his head and hummed at him.
"How's Arwa and little one?" He asked and Farooq sighed.
"She's fine," he said not wanting to say anything further considering the big fight they had concerning them.
Farooq stayed at the mosque for close to three weeks and he didn't call his family nor did her bother to go to see them or call them over to see him. He was simply unbothered, it was only Arwa that called once and the conversation between them was unfairly short, which left Imam in confusion.
