Judo's house...

The bus drops off Judo and Bluey. "Bye, guys! Cya monday!" She waves to her friends. "Bye Judo!" Bluey says as she walks next door to her house. Judo waves back with a worried look on her face. She walks towards her blue house and opens up the door."M-Mum I'm home!"She shouts across the house. Her mum walks up to the front door and gives Judo a hug. She then notices the crumpled paper in her hand. "What's this?" She grabs it. She looks at the scary drawing. Judo...what's this..?....did you draw this...?" Wendy asks with a terrified look. "No, it was some mean kid, Stephanie!" She shouts. "And what are all these bruises! What happened!?"

"W-Well I might've got gotten into a.....f-fight....." she stutters. "Judo! With who? Stephanie!?" Wendy yells. Judo nods slowly. "And she gave you this after the fight...?" Wendy asked sternly, trying to gain information about the situation.  "Y-Yes...I'm scare,  Mum!" Judo shouts. "She's not gonna hurt you...I'll make sure of it. Now c'mon let's discuss this over dinner...."

Bluey's house...

Bluey walks into the door of her house after saying goodbye to Judo. Bingo runs up to her. "Bluey! How was school!" Bingo asks enthusiasticly. "It was good, how about you?" She asks. "It was fun!" She responded. "Ey, Bluey! How was school, kid?" Bandit asks. "It was good!" Bluey walks up to her room with Bingo before running into her mum.

"Oh hi Bluey! What happened at school today?" She asks nicely. "Uhh, there was a fight..." she says quietly. A concerned looks grows on Chili's face. "Really? Who was involved?" Chili asks worrily. "It was between Judo and this Rude girl Stephanie. But then Judo got pushed to the ground so me, Jack, And Rusty rushed over to see if she was ok" She explains. "Oh wow" Chilli responds. "Was Judo hurt?" Bingo asks. "No, but Jack was....he tried to tell Stephanie off, but he got punched... Then Rusty punched her back.." she explains to everyone. "Poor Jack..."Chilli says sadly. "Was he ok..?" Bingo asks, worried. "Yeah,  he was fine after he went to the nurse" Bluey says with a light smile "Well at least you didn't get hurt. You tell us all about it over dinner" Chilli says while carrying the basket of laundry downstairs. Bluey walks into her room with Bingo. Bingo tells Bluey all about her school day. She mostly played and talked with Lila all day. That was pretty much it.

Jack's house...

Jack unlocks his front door and steps into his house, covering his eye. "Hey Kid!" His Dad says as he walks in. "What's wrong with your eye?" He asks. "Oh, uhhhh, I got....punched...." He says silently. "What was that mate?" He says. "Uhhh, I got punched...." He says again. "What! By who!?" His dad shouts in a concerned tone. "It was this bully named Stephanie..." He explained. "C'mon and get an ice pack for your eye. As his Dad gets an ice pack, Jack hears his phone buz from inside his backpack.

Rusty: so I might've got in trouble for punching Stephanie....

Jack: What? Why? You did it to protect me!

Rusty: Yeah ik but my Mum doesn't think punching somone is ok...

Jack: So you can't come to my house tomorrow..?

Rusty: I don't think so....I'm sorry....

Jack: it's ok...I'll see ya tomorrow at school I guess.

Jack looks up from his phone. His Dad walks over and applies the cold ice pack over Jack's half-swollen eye. "Ok you can go to your room now" his Dad tells him. Jack walks down the hall to his room. "What happened to your eye!?" Lulu yells. "It's a long story...."

Rusty's house...

Rusty hops off the bus and slowly makes his way to his house, worried that his mum will find out that he had punched someone. She doesn't think violence is an option for any situation, so he would probably get in trouble even if he was trying to protect Jack. "M-Mum, I'm home!" He shouts, his voice echoing through the house. He walked into the living room where Dusty was watching TV. "Hey Dusty! How was school?" He asks his sister, setting his backpack near his room. "It was good, I guess" She answered silently. Thier Mum steps into the room.

"Hey, sweetheart! What happened at school today?" She asks. "Oh, uh, nothing special..." Rusty was sweating. "Alright, have any ideas on what you want for dinner?" She asks the two smaller kelpies. Rusty sits with Dusty on the couch. "No, not really" Rusty responded, his eyes glued to the TV screen. "Alright" She takes a few steps closer to the exit before leaving the room.

Their mum was in the kitchen trying to figure out what to make for dinner. Her laptop was open on the kitchen table. She had some work to do while she was home. She hears a notification from her computer, and her head turns to it. She sits down in front of the screen, she got an email from Rusty's principal. She's curious about what it is, so she clicks on it.

Dear Jess Kelpie,

Your son, Rusty Kelpie, has one week detention. A fight occurred outside this morning, and he punched another student in the face. I'm just letting you know.

Sincerely, Amilia Terrier.

Her eyes grow wide as to what she just read. "Rusty! Get in here now!" She shouts angirly. Rusty gets up, he can tell she was mad by the tone of her voice. He creeps into the kitchen. "Tell me why I got an email from Ms. Terrier that you punched someone at school today!" She yells at him. "W-Well....The girl I punched...Sh-She was being really mean, and she hurt Jack....I was trying to protect him!" He explained nervously

"You didn't have to punch her back!" She says loudly. Dusty listens to the heated argument from the living room. "I didn't want Jack to get hurt again!" He shouts at her. "You could've just told a teacher what was going on! Becoming part of the problem isn't how you solve it!" She explains. "But Mum!..." Rusty begs. "I don't want to hear it! You're not allowed to go to Jack's house tomorrow. Tell him the plans are canceled!" She screams. Rusty looks at her and then stares down at the floor. "I'll be in my room...." He sighs. He walks to his room with his head down, his ears drooping down to the floor. He was trying to make his mum feel sympathy for him, it doesn't work. He quietly shuts his door, sits on his bed, and takes out his phone to text Jack.

Rusty: so I might've got in trouble for punching Stephanie....

Jack: What? Why? You did it to protect me!

Rusty: Yeah ik but my Mum doesn't think punching somone is ok..

Jack: So you can't come to my house tomorrow..?

Rusty: I don't think so....I'm sorry....

Jack: it's ok...I'll see ya tomorrow at school

Rusty lifts his head off the phone and lays in bed, staring up at the ceiling. "I wasn't the bad guy...was I?" That question plays over and over in his head. He sighs loudly and begins to fall asleep as he waits for dinner to be ready.
