As Judo walks into her class, she notices a seat that's been empty for two weeks has now been filled by a firmilair Shiba Inu, Stephanie. "G-Guys....look who's back..." Judo whispers nervously. Indy looks over at Stephanie. "Oh....she's back.." Indy sighs. "Alright, class, let's get started!" Mrs. Collie says loudly, clapping her hands together to get the attention of the class. Indy and Judo sit down next to each other and prepare for the class to begin. Stephanie sits in the back glaring at Indy and Judo "I'm gonna kill those fucks...." she mutters under her breath.
Rusty, Jack, and Mackenzie all walk to their next class together. Stephanie is leaning on her locker, watching the people walk by. When Rusty, Jack, and Mackenzie walk by Stephanie, she holds out her leg to trip them. "HUFF" Jack falls to the ground, everything spilling out of his backpack. Stephanie giggles a little. "Ow..." Jack says quietly, gripping onto his scrapped knee. "What the hell was that for!?" Rusty shouts. "it's funny" Stephanie chuckles with a big grin on her face. "Can you just leave us the fuck alone!" Mackenzie yells angirly. Stephanie just laughs and ignores everything they tell her.
Rusty helps Jack off the ground. "I'm tired of you acting like a bitch towards us!" Rusty yells, grabbing onto Jack's hand. "What the hell did you just call me!" Stephanie walks up to Rusty and stares him directly in the eyes, they're faces were only a few inches apart. "I think you heard me, bitch" Rusty growls. Stephanie kicks his Rusty's ankle. Rusty falls onto the cold hallway floor. A few students watch the scene take place. Jack watches as he falls. He looks at Stephanie. She notices the fury in his eyes. Mackenzie picks Rusty up. Jack walks over to Stephanie and slams her against the locker as hard as he could, making her hit her head. He couldn't believe what he had just done. "Can you leave us the fuck alone!" He screams. "Woah..." Mackenzie mutters. Stephanie stares at him as she walks down the hall. Rusty flips her off while her back is turned.
Jack walks back to Rusty and Mackenzie with a small smile on his face. "Who are you, mate?" Mackenzie laughs. "I-I don't know...." Jack replied quietly.
During lunchtime, the group sits outside by the same tree they always sit near. Stephanie was eyeing the group down from a safe distance. "He's going to regret that..." She says with an evil grin.
She digs through her backpack to pull out her same old knife at the very bottom of her bag, still stained in dried blood, glinting in the burning sun. She looks around before making her way to Jack. She hovers the russel, unaware of what was about to happen. Rusty stares at who was behind Jack. They were shrouded in the darkness of their hood. He couldn't quite make out who it was. But what he did know is that they were carrying a knife, and they were going to hurt his best friend. "Jack, watch out!" Rusty shouts.
"This is what you get, asshole." She sticks the knife into the back of Jack's neck and quickly pulls it out before dashing away from the scene. Jack falls into the grass, staining each blade with his blood, still pooling out of his neck. Jack doesn't speak. He grunts and barks a little. "JACK!" Rusty screams. Stephanie has already fled from the scene. Rusty crawls over to him, staring into Jack's eyes, tears started to stream down Rusty's face.
"J-Jack, i-it's gonna be okay...Somebody call 000!" Rusty yells. Judo whips out her phone and dials 000. "Jack, you're gonna be okay..." Rusty says quietly. Jack can barely keep his eyes open. Bluey and Mackenzie start running into the school to alert the teachers.
they run into the nearest classroom. "MRS. COLLIE JACK JUST GOT STABBED!" Bluey shouts. "WHAT!" Mrs. Collie screams. The three follow each other outside. "We already called 000 the ambulances is on their way!" Judo yells to them. They can hear sirens in the distance. "They're on their way, Jack....J-Just hang in there..." Rusty sniffles.
The ambulance stops in front of the school, and a few doctors and police man come sprinting out. One of them, pushing a stretcher.
Rusty points over to Jack. They slowly pick Jack up, trying to be as careful as they could. They drag him into the ambulance. "C-Can I go with him?" Rusty asks, with tears still in eyes. "Y-Yes, I'll have to tell your parents about the situation" She answered.
Rusty hops onto the ambulance and watches Jack's limp body. "It's okay, Jack, it's okay...." Rusty grips Jack's hand tightly. He can feel his pulce. It was slow but never stopped. The paramedics shout things across the room, Rusty doesn't listen, he just cares about Jack
He watches as they delicately turn Jack over to stop him from losing anymore blood. "I-Is he gonna be okay?" Rusty sobs. "He's going to be fine. He just needs a couple of days in the ER" the paramedic responds with a worried smile. The ambulance quickly pulls into the hospital's parking lot.
Everyone rushes inside, screaming and shouting. Rusty follows close behind. They eventually reach a hospital room. They lay Jack down on the hospital bed.
Rusty sits down next to him. After a couple of hours, it's just the two of them in the room. Rusty watches his best friend lays there, he talks to him, knowing that Jack won't respond, he wonders if he'll be alright
Jack finally begins to gain consciousness from anesthesia. "W-W-What...where the hell am I...." Jack stutters, his eyes start to adjust to his surroundings. "Jack! I'm so glad you're okay! Y-You got stabbed in the neck....We don't know who did it, but I'll find out..." Rusty explains sadly. "O-Oh..." Jack tries to sit up "fuck....My neck it hurts so bad..." Jack mumbles. "Just try to lay down..." Rusty tells him. Rusty wants to give him a hug so badly, but he doesn't want to hurt Jack, so he resists.
The two talk for a while until it's time for Rusty to go home. "My mum is here, Bye Jack...I'll talk to you tomorrow" Rusty says calmly. Jack waves goodbye as Rusty shuts the door behind him. Jack lays down comfortably in his hospital bed and tries his best to fall asleep.
