7. Je t'aime

Thursday, June 11th, 2026

Jean-luc got off the bus with Bluey and Mackenzie. It was the day before the last day of school. Jean-luc watched Bluey and Mackenzie hold hands as they got closer to the school. "tout ce que j'ai à faire c'est de son dire que son l'aime" He whispered to himself.

"Bye Kenzie!" Bluey said happily as she gave Mackenzie a hug before he walked into his class. Jean-luc blushed as Bluey looked his way. "Alright, let's go, Jean-luc!" She said with a smile as they headed towards their next class.

During lunch, Jean-luc watched Mackenzie and Bluey eat together. He sighed as they laughed and whispered in each other's ears. Bluey looked over at him. "You okay, Jean-luc?" Bluey asked. Jean-luc nodded as his face turned red. He stared into Bluey's eyes for a couple of seconds. "Jean-luc?" Bluey asked with a confused facial expression. Jean-luc snapped out of it. "I-I'm alright..." He said with a flustered look.

They all walked with each other to Mrs. Collie's classroom. He walked behind Bluey and Mackenzie, staring them down as they got closer to the class. They all sat down next to each other. "Ugh, this class again..." Mackenzie grunted as they sat down. "After tomorrow, you'll never be in this classroom again" Bluey told him with a smile. "Finnally!" Mackenzie shouted as he threw his hands into the air. Jean-luc sat there silently, listening to their conversations.

Mrs. Collie got up from her desk. "Alright, class, settle down" She said loudly. Everyone went quiet as she began her lesson.

During dismissal, Bluey, Mackenzie, and Jean-luc walked out of the school together. "I gotta use the bathroom really quick" Mackenzie told Bluey as he walked away. "Alright!" Bluey said as she watched him walk away.

Jean-luc stared at Bluey for a while. "H-He's your boyfriend, right?" He asked her. "U-Uh, yeah" Bluey answered akwardly. Jean-luc stood there. Neither of them said a word. "Je t'aime..." Jean-luc whispered under his breath. "What does that mean?" Bluey asked playfully. "I-It just means....I-I'm glad we're friends..." Jean-luc said with a fake smile.

"I'm back!" Mackenzie shouted as he left the bathroom. "Alright, let's go!" Bluey said with a smile. Jean-luc watched them walk away, hand-in-hand. His smile faded as he stood there. "Come on, Jean-luc!" Bluey shouted from down the hall. "Coming!" Jean-luc yelled as he caught up with them.
