3.BOOKSHOP

It's our lunch break. it's at a good time when there less people coming into the cafe and Mrs Anderson says she can handle it with her daughter Abby

She's 21 with brown long hair and tanned skin from probably walking around in the sun. Her eyes are a gorgeous green colour, which always reminds me of nature. she has pump lips, absolutely stunning kinda makes me wonder why someone would want to leave her.

Boys are such assholes

I grab my laptop and head to the bookshop opposite the cafe. Honestly an amazing combination. lili following right behind me, she's always loved books as much as I have. we are obsessed with reading and dreaming about the characters
Maybe that's why she's so delulu about how she'll meet her soulmate

We walk in and seat at our usual table greeting Max who works here at the reception
I set out my laptop placing the food and drink I got from the cafe on opposite sides
Going straight to ig I find a bunch of text from Zoey
I reply to each and everyone one of them knowing if I don't, she'll skin me alive
She replies immediately talking about her preparation for school.
Which reminds me, I still haven't decided what I want to do with my life.

I put Instagram to the side and open Google and type in "HIGHEST PAYING JOBS"
The results come out as usual lawyers, surgeons, etc.
I go back and forth from Instagram to Google while eating my food for about 30min.

I finally look up and see lili completely lost in her book I smile at the thought of her imagining herself has the main character

"What are you smiling at" She asks with squinted eyes trying to look serious or angry
"Nothing" I chuckle
"You know one day all my fantasies will come true and then will see who's laughing" she squints her eyes again
"I'll be waiting for the day you prove me wrong lili"

"Is Ethan single" My heart skips a beat at the mention of his name, her question taking me off guard
"Trust me you don't want Ethan any where near your fantasies" I say truthfully

"Why not do you like him" I look at her and laugh a little
"No" I say it straight
"Then" she ask folding her arms
"Well" I pause looking for an answer
"His not exactly fairytale material" i say also trying to convince myself
She looks at me
"But his gorgeous" she says with dreamy eyes
"What if I make him into the fairytale type" I cough like she just said something absurd, which it was
She looks at me making her already thin lips thiner

"Look Ethan isn't really the type to change. I know him better than anyone"
She looks at me kinda sad
"But if you think you could, please be my guest" I lean back in my chair
"Really" she beams at me
"Go for it kid" I look back at my laptop and see yet another text from zoey "where are you" I read out loud not sure why

I text her back and 2min later she finds her way through the bookshop to our table hugging me from behind and going to the side to hug lili

"I'm gonna make a move on Ethan" lili says with a stupidly bright smile plasted on her face. zoey looks at me, she's the only one who knows I have a crush on him I give her a lil nod to assure her I'm fine with it

"That's awesome" she practically screems the bookshop doesn't really mind the chatter, I never asked why to afraid to talk to someone new I guess

"When" she ask pulling a chair for herself and sitting down putting both hands on the table holding her head with her hands
"Today when he picks me up"
Zoey looks at me again
But I say nothing

Lili stands up putting one leg on the chair and throwing her arm in the air like she's making a declaration

"Today my pretties, today, I Lilith Ross, will make a move on thee Ethan Banks. we won't be afraid and we will not back down" she screams some guy in the back shushs her
"Oh shush yourself" zoey snaps back
Lili smiles
"I'm going to check out this book lunch is almost over" she walks away
