Yeah we've been hanging out but I wouldn't say we're dating he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend" I'm by the counter taking orders and zoey won't stop asking question

"Hey can I have a black coff..."
"But you guys hooked up" she cuts the guy next her
"I wouldn't call it hooking up we never got far" I say also ignoring the customer

"Excuse me some of us are trying to have a cup of coffee here"
"Buzz off" zoey shushs him away
"I'm so sorry you were saying, black coffee?" He nods I type it in and grab a cup of coffee I give him an apologetic smile and he walks off to a table

"Do we have to talk about this here" I look at zoey
"I could lose my job"
"Quit. I can handle your bills babe" I roll my eyes. she can actually, she's offered so many times but I don't like taking money from people, I like to earn it

"I'm good" I smile
She turns and faces the door her eyes look like there going to pop out
I look in the direction she's looking and

"Oh" I say

We both stare in horror at the scene infront of us
Xander and Ethan are laughing there heads off outside the cafe

She turns and I go close to her face our noses almost touching
"What are they doing here"
"Coffee" she says with a stupid smile

"Why. together. how" I don't even know what to ask we are basically whispering to each other right now

"I don't know Amara why don't you ask them"

Lili screams jumping into Ethans arms

Xander comes over to me and places a kiss on my cheek
I look at Ethan as these scenes take place and we lock eyes worry laced in my eyes and confusion in his it's like everything comes to a stop and its just us two trying to communicate with our eyes
He looks away and my heart breaks

"Hey zoey" Xander greats her politely
"Heyyy" zoey says awkwardly
"Hey Muffin. Zoey" Ethan strolls over Zoey rolls her eyes at him. it's kinda there thing but I know he would beat up anyone who hurt her he proved that when he beat up leo the other day. she's like his little sister in some way

"Omg you guys should go on a double date" I slowly turn my head at zoey wide eyed she mouths you're welcome. Is she for real

"Yeahhh that's an amazing idea" lili screams getting a few eyes turned to us

"Yea you in Xander" Ethan asks
"Yeah man"
"You'll ain't working tomorrow so we'll pick you up at 6 is that okay" Xander says
"We'll go to my restaurant if thats okay with everyone"lili nods excitedly. me on the other hand isn't as excited

"Awesome" I say not so thrilled
The order what the came for, xander winks at me and the walk out

I turn zoey pulling her by the collar
"What.is.wrong.with.you?" I say steely
"I live for drama"she says casually

"This isn't gonna end well"
"I know right" she shakes her head and laughs
"Shut up" I slap the back of head and walk off

It's 5pm on a Saturday and well, this is probably gonna be the waste date I have been on

I hear a knock at the door and it opens lili walks in looking nervous

"I don't know What to wear" I see her with a duffle bag. it must contain clothes. I drag her upstairs and we get ready together

No I'm not gonna make her look ugly or try and look better than her She's my friend I can't do that to her
