We drove in silence for about 10min the sound of my playlist being the only sound
It was a comfortable silence not awkward at all
I look over at lili, she's shifting in her sit, playing with her hands and bitting her bottom lip

she looks over at me from time to time like she's trying to say something but stops herself before any word is released

"Are you okay" I ask sparing her a quick glance before looking toward the road again
"Huh" she looks at me "ye..ye..yeah I'm okay" she stutters

I lift one eyebrow
"Are you sure you seem on edge,are you scared to be in the same car has me?"I smirk
"No" she say more like trying to convince herself
I don't push her but I know somethings up

"Is that a new phone"she asks
"Huh" I look at what she's pointing at "oh yeah shit I forgot to give to Amara"

"You got her a new phone. That's so sweet" she smiles, a small smile

"Yeah" I say with a small chuckle
After a few minutes she breaks the silence

"You really care about her,. huh"
I look at her
"Amara?"
"Oh yeah I do. She's one of the realest people in this shity world"

I smile at the thought of her.
I remember when she walked into my class; back in school I was two grades higher; there was no chance of us crossing paths but fate brought us together

When she walked into the room and my heart was stolen, she took it back to when it wasn't broken
Now she's all I want and I knew it from that very first moment
We locked eyes as she walked out of my class and was kinda sad when she wasn't in my view anymore I looked for her everywhere and finally found her in the one place I wouldn't go the library we talked I made her laugh and fell even more in love with her each day

I tried to make her my girlfriend but I guess she never took it seriously I finally gave up trying and just kept her as my bestfriend

I never showed I considered her my bestfriend cuz then we would have a title and the only title I wanted her to have was my girl
I don't think I'll ever stop loving her but I have to move on cuz she'll never love me the way I want her too

"Here we are" I say looking up at her house she gets out and walks to my door
"Amm thanks for the ride" she sticks her head in and kisses my cheek

She starts to walk away but stops and turns back

"Hey" she says shyly
"Hey" I smirk
"I.. aa..ammm I was.. if maybe.. amm" she stutters failing to form a full sentence she breathes in telling herself she can do it

"Will you go out on a date with me"
"I thought the guy is suppose to ask"
"Yeah but I just thought I wou..."
"I'll pick you up at 7 Saturday night is that okay" cutting her off
She looks at me, smiles and nods
With that said, she walks away

I should go give Amara the phone plus I just want to see her

I remember in high-school when she dated this jerk he was such an ass he disrespected her and let his friends do the same. dick.
She would cry to zoey never to me she knew I would do something about it'.

I still did but in that moment I just wanted to wipe away her tears, kiss her perfect full lips and tell her everything would be fine.

If she was mine I would never let anyone hurt her or talk bad of her he didn't deserve her and she finally realised that but it was to late he already broke her heart.

But that's not my story to tell what I can tell you is, I did break a few of his bones

I park my car at a safe distance and go around her house
her parents wouldn't approve of me coming so late
