"He hasn't talked to me in a week" I pout
"Little Ama his been in love with you for years and you rejected him, he needs time before he can talk to you again" I sigh

"That's what everyone has been telling me, I just want my bestfriend back" I swing

I have been meeting Ryan at the playground a lot
With him, I don't feel like I need to fake anything he already knows what's going on and he doesn't make a big deal out of it which I'm thankful for

"Don't worry he'll be back"

"Why don't you vape" I ask changing the subject
"Favoured gas doesn't do anything for me I like the old school type"
I nod

"I don't know what's in that gas so I'm good"

"Yes" He looks down

"Then maybe stop killing yourself"

"You're a smart mouth arent yal, no wonder Michael beats your ass" I laugh and hit the back of his head

He throws his cigarette on the ground and steps on it

"Really need to be picking those up what if a kid picks it up and as a taste"
"Then his just met heaven" I roll my eyes

"Okay little Ama from now on I'll only take drugs when it's necessary"

"Is it ever necessary" I look at him sarcastically

"Think of it like the pain killers you take" He grins standing up and stretching his hand out for me to take

"Come on I'll drive you home" I get his hand and he pulls me closer putting his arm over my shoulder

"Hey listen, I know you don't want to hear this but I did too at some point.
If you need help, just tell me I'll make sure his ass is in jail until he dies" he kisses my forehead and I get off Not giving him an answer

I want to tell him I do. please help me but I can't, not yet.

I get a call from lili
"Hey Amara come to Ethan's place please" she pleads desperation in her voice

"I'm on my way"
I call Ryan back and we drive to Ethan's place

I walk in and everything is a mess. Broken glass everywhere and things are thrown around. lili is sitting on the stairs her head in her hands, Xander and Marcus are leaning on the wall and Zoey is trying to comfort Lili

"What happened"
Mr Banks comes down from the stairs and his voice bombs in the house

"I told him the truth" I walk over to him angry
"What truth"
"About his mum"
He stops at the bottom of the stairs

"He told him his mother killed his twin sister" xander says looking at Mr Banks with Anger in his eyes

"What" I ask
"His mum wan..." I stop Xander
"I want to hear him say it" I look at Mr Banks

"His mum was mentally ill. she gave birth to him and his twin sister but something was wrong with her.she cried and cried so much his mum couldn't take it so she killed her by putting a pillow over her head to keep her quiet" He looks away sadness in his eyes

"Ethan was to young to remember her so we just decided to leave it like that" He purses

"Ethan reminded her of his twin so she tried to kill him too. I wasn't gonna allow that to happen. I couldn't save one child I could atlease save the last one I have"
