It's been 3 months since the break-in and everything has been great, My mental health has gotten a lot better Billie has helped with that but I've seen a therapist so it's definitely helped me improve a lot. Everyone knows we are dating and life has just been great.
"What are you thinking about?" Billie asks while lying on my chest
"How much things have changed and how much better I feel now, you make me so happy" I grin
"You make me so happy too" she says and smiles back at me
"I wanna take you on a date tonight" I blurt randomly
"ok what time" she grins
"In a couple of hours so go to your house and get ready" I say
she gets up and I smack her ass while she stands up
"You weirdo" she shakes her head and laughs
"Bye baby" I say
"Bye sexy" she says and we both laugh
I've been planning this for a couple of weeks but she doesn't know that.
-1 hour later-
Billie texted me saying she was walking over.
I hear a knock on the door so I go to open it, I look at her and stare in awe.
"You look amazing" I say and kiss her
"You look cute too" she laughs

We arrived at the hill I took Billie to one time and I had a picnic set up in the grass.
"I know this isn't a lot but I just wanted to spend time with you in peace and quiet without anything around us, we can just focus on each other and live in the moment. no distractions, nothing in our way." I tell her while we sit down
"Aww that was so cute, I love it don't worry I wouldn't wanna be anywhere else. This is perfect" she says
"I'm glad, you mean so much to me you have no idea. I wanna thank you for being by my side this entire time through it all and I want you to know how much I care for you. I never wanna lose you and I hope we stay together forever. I truly believe you are my person, you are the person I wanna marry one day, the person I wanna have kids with, the person I see in my future, the person I see by my side forever." I look into her eyes the entire time and hold her hands while I talk
"Are you bouta propose because..." she jokes
"No, I'm not that's definitely too soon" I laugh
"But I do wanna give you this-"I pull out a box with a ring
"- it's a promise ring, to promise you that I will always be by your side and I will forever be here for you. Thank you for being here for me and going through things with me, I don't know what I would do or be without you. I love you." I get teary-eyed
I look up and see tears falling down her face and then she speaks up and says-
"I love you more" she kisses me passionately
We then pull away and just grin at each other from ear to ear.
I'm so happy.
