~Remnant-II – Jaune POV~
Mu-ha-ha-ha! Yes! Their reaction was so wonderful! First things first. The people needed some supplies as they had run out of food. I gave them hundreds of boxes of food.
~It's all about fruits and veggies, you see. They're the key to a healthy you and me! Carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower too. They're packed with vitamins, that's true.~
~Spinach, kale, and a juicy red apple. They'll keep you fit. You won't want to grapple! Bananas, grapes, and strawberries sweet. They make for a delicious treat.~
~Oranges, lemons, and limes so sour. They give you energy, hour after hour! So let's all remember to eat our greens. And all the colorful fruits in between.~
~A healthy body, a healthy mind. That's the secret we're here to find! Fruits and veggies, we love you so. In our bodies, you help us glow. So let's eat right and stay in shape. With every bite, we feel great!~
Crap! I made that song to lighten the mood of the children. Now it's stuck in my head! Why, oh, why did I have to make that song? I should have made it less catchy! Then again, it made all those children smile. I guess that's what really matters. Who cares if it's stuck in my head?
Right, back on track. Since I finished feeding the masses, I decided to help the people with their living conditions. The place they were staying was no place for children to be, but they had nowhere else to go. In that case, we might as well make this place great for the children. I made homes for them and even a playground for the kids to have fun. In these dark times, seeing their smiles brings joy to the people. What better way for the children's smile to increase positivity to push away Grimm?
The people were happier with the changes I made. Through the houses I made for them, the heating issue was solved. However, this is only in this small area. The other parts of Mantle do not have heating. See! I knew the idea of a city-wide central heating was a bad idea! Ha! Take that, Saph! Central heating per household is a much better idea! It's dumb to give control of the heating to a single company.
Now, I'm not saying I do not have a way to solve the problem. On the contrary, I have dozens of spells that would quickly achieve it. But! What would happen when I leave? This is not like the wall. This needs the active usage of mana. Hold on a second? How can the wall use its abilities without the active usage of mana? That's something to think about. For now, let's help the people with the heating issue.
While thinking of what spell to use, I heard the Happy Huntresses speaking among themselves. "I can't believe he has a semblance like mine! He is capable of storing things!"
I then heard another say. "I don't think it's a semblance, Fiona. He is quite weird. We all saw how he was able to create all those houses in an instant. Then, earlier, we saw him build a wall throughout Mantle in a matter of a moment. If it is a semblance, then he must have two, at the very least. That's unheard of."
Then Fiona looked at her friend. "What else can it be? Magic? Joanna, do you believe in magic?"
The girl I now know is Joanna, said. "Is it that absurd? We are living in a world where dark creatures roam the world. Heck! We have powers we call semblances!"
Another girl from the group, I believe she is May, the person Fiona mentioned earlier. You know, about me having a better butt than her. And I must say, Fiona is right. Anyway, I heard her saying. "Are you guys not realizing something important? Doesn't this guy look like Jaune? Heck! Just make him slightly shorter, and they'll almost be identical! How are you not being more cautious?"
I saw Joanna look at May. "He has been helping us. He hasn't done anything wrong. What would he get from helping us if he had an ulterior motive? We are barely surviving since we didn't have supplies, and we had to steal all kinds of supplies from Atlas."
