Ruby was holding onto Jaune's Absolute Spear. She was rubbing her cheeks with it and caressing the spear. It was honestly cute like a child getting a new toy.

Ruby was laughing to herself, and she whispered, "Tell me, how do you work? I want to know so I can implement it in my Crescent Rose...Tell me your secrets."

Weiss was freaked out, and she said, "Ruby! Stop being creepy! The spear is not going to answer you."

Ruby glared at Weiss and said, "You don't know that!".

Weiss shouted, "It's a spear! They don't talk! At least if you're going to do that, do it in your tent!"

Ruby hmphed and headed to her tent, which also happens to be RWBY's tent, which means it is also Weiss' tent. This caused the girl to scream internally. She collapsed into Jaune's arms.

Jaune started caressing Weiss' hair and saying, "There, there. It's okay. If you want, you can stay at our tent."

Weiss nodded. On the outside, she looked relieved that she would not have to stay with a crazed Ruby and a weapon, but on the inside, secret, she was enjoying the embrace of Jaune, who was not wearing armor.

Weiss secretly squeezed Jaune's bicep and thought, 'He-he-he! Oh, my! When I was dancing with Neptune, his body was not as amazing as this. Tsk! Why did I ever think Neptune was a good choice.'

The night was young, everyone was asleep, and Jaune was the first watch. He already knew that this mission was something going to be something overboard.

With Jaune's keen senses, he heard something not too far away. It was White Fang operatives doing rounds. He and the others were having trouble finding their lookout. So, he had this crazy idea of letting them capture him. It was easy; he could pretend to be lost. They should be blinded with hate and would not realize how a civilian would be here in the first place.

And thus, Jaune put it into action, and it all went according to his plan. They even covered his head with a sack. Easy. Without a second thought, they brought him to the underground hideout. He saw all the things they were doing.

Jaune did not know where he was, but that is easy to find out later. Right now, the voice speaking is important: "Well, what do we have here? A Human. What should we do with him?"

Jaune was sitting in a chair tied up, with a sack on his head. He could not see anything.

A person shouted, "Burn him! Let him feel what the people of the Dust mine felt!"

Another shouted, "Mark him! Just like they marked as like animals!"

Jaune thought as he heard the people's shouts, 'These people are pissed at Humans.'

However, he heard the first voice shout, "Leave. I'll deal with this one personally."

There was nothing the White Fang operatives could do. When she makes the decision, they can only follow it. So, they left.

The woman that spoke earlier grabbed Jaune's chair and dragged him to another room where they could be alone. She wanted to be alone with him since he had the scent of Blake.

The person unsheathed their weapon, placed the blade by Jaune's neck, and said, "Tell me where she is! I want to know!"

With a calm voice, Jaune said, "Uhm...Buddy, I don't know who you are talking about."

The voice became angrier, "Don't toy with me, Human! I can smell the scent on you! You've been in contact with her recently!"

Jaune sighed and said, "You haven't told me who you are looking for and whose scent is on me."
