Summer went to sleep and Fall had risen. The month in which seasons changed. Autumn had delicately fallen off a tree and gently laid on the ground. Trees would start to change as did the weather in order to fit into such a pleasant season. It is currently the start of October, which leads to the spookiest day of the spookiest month: Halloween! A time to eat a ton of sweets and get a sugar high. A chance to dress up either with friends, a lover, or just fly solo. Maybe get invited to a Halloween party. Perhaps go trick or treating. Or just stay inside and watch some horror movies.

Charlie was settled on Nick's couch using the blonde as a pillow. The two decided to start October off by staying inside and watching movies. They planned on going out once their movie is finished to get some Fall related drinks, then chill in the park.

Not quite suspenseful, but they didn't care. As long as they had one another, neither of them could care less if they decide to be extroverts or introverts. All they wanted was to stay by the other side and spend every second of the day with one another.

Charlie snuggled closer to Nick to the point Nick was laying on his back with Charlie laying on top of him. Luckily Nick had a pillow he could rest his head on. While Charlie was captivated with the movie, Nick was running his fingers through the distracted bloke's hair. Feeling how soft and curly the bloke's hair was, smelling like coconuts.

The scene was calm, despite the horror film flooding the quiet house. The two blokes had told their friends that they didn't feel like hanging out, but rather have a date night. The group understood and left them be. Nick was very grateful. As much as he liked his friends, he hardly had any Charlie time. Keeping up all straight A's in college was challenging and having a job was challenging, yet he's been managing so far.

Still, he needed a distraction and Charlie was the answer. Charlie was doing well in school, but he would turn work late in or do poorly on tests, but Nick made sure to help his love whenever he needed it (and was available). Nick would do anything for his Prince.

"Should we leave to get drinks before nightfall?" Charlie asked. Nick shook his head and realized Charlie was looking at him.

"Y-Yeah, we probably should," Charlie nodded and sat up, still on Nick. "Thanks for reminding me."

"It's no problem." Charlie chuckled as he turned off the television.

Nick sat up and rested his hand on Charlie's waist. Charlie looked over at Nick with his face heating up a bit.

"N-Nick?"

"Do we have to?" Nick asked. He leaned close and rested his head on Charlie's shoulder. "I want you to stay in my arms." The bloke purred.

Charlie's body was on fire. He could feel Nick's hot breath on his neck. Throughout the course of their relationship over the years, the two had started to become more comfortable with being intimate. However, Charlie would have days he didn't feel comfortable with it and Nick would understand and back off. Still, Charlie would always feel hot whenever Nick's voice would become deep, or when he could feel the blonde's breath on his neck.

"N-Nick. As much as I love you and how adorable you're being, I was really hoping to go on a walk and go to a cafe." Charlie lift Nick's head off his shoulder and locked eyes with him.

"I know, I know," Nick sighed. "But I really like having you in my arms."

"Mm, I do, too. But I really wanna go on a walk and enjoy the weather." Charlie whined.
